I have been using Your Shape since December 26. I am not a representative from Ubisoft nor am I an expert user of Your Shape. Having said that there are some things that are pretty clear. I will list them by category (complaint?).

On the Outline: To put it simply there is none. Nobody at Ubisoft or even the Forum Manager will say this but it was clearly a demonstrative marketing tool. It's not there so there is no use crying over that fact.

On the fact that it doesn't seem to pick up your movements correctly and you are getting low scores: There are two possibilities, 1. You have to make technical adjustments ie. lighting, clothing adjustments all are well documented or 2. You are not doing the exercise correctly. On this topic I think what Ubisoft is attempting is incredible. How many other exercise video or software media give you feedback on your form. The answer is,as of today, only Your Shape. They have opened up this door and it only is going to get better from here.

On the idea of you not being able to pick and choose your exercises. Folks this game is emulating you going to a fitness class. When you go to a fitness class the instructor does not customize the workout. He/she goes the through the workout as planned and gives you options to modify it if you can't get do the movement. If you are in that position modify the exercise to what you can do. The important thing is that you are doing something.

On the challenge Code. Ubisoft to my knowledge has released the code to a game reviewer named Alex. His review of the game (an excellent one) can be viewed at http://diehardgamefan.com/2009...ring-jenny-mccarthy/ . If you comment on his article and ask for the code he will email it to you. Why Ubisoft is choosing to release it this way is a mystery but at least you can try the extra challenge exercises. Apparently they are high intensity workouts so unless you are in good shape be careful.

On the way Ubisoft is choosing to communicate with its customers: On this I agree they have struck out badly. Their customer service seems to be non-existent and instead of addressing the issues they seem to have turtled and left it up to a forum manager to pass on our concerns to to them.

On the Software itself: One word "incredible". For $70 they have put together a great game that has made a difference in my exercise regimen. I have not only lost weight but feel my body tightening and toning. I usually work out for 15 minutes a day following the calendar it has created for me. I am amazed at what it can do! All I know is that I am getting a good workout each day and the more I use it the better I feel. Hats off to you Ubisoft you have made a major breakthrough in exercise gaming. I can hardly wait until your next version.

    Hope this helps.

I have just the regular Wii fit which I find helps you do the exercises correctly so much better than Your Shape. You can only adjust the lighting etc. so much, my wall is a certain color and my floor is wood - I can't change them. Your balance on the board makes you do them correctly, rather than a voice randomly saying great or watch your arms. On our made up profile, where we weight 400 lbs and are 73 years old, my husband was doing the exact opposite of what he was supposed to be doing or making the cat dance around and it was giving him greats and super scores. And it was still telling us to do side planks, etc. Really, at 400 lbs and sedentary should we be doing that?It doesn't track anything. The wii fit weighs you and tracks your progress. I am looikng to get the fit plus or something else. Too much stress of being yelled at.

I agree with braun647. The more I do this, the more I hate it. To get it to register at all, I have to do the exact opposite direction of what direction she is doing. And I hate when you are not able to see her and she tells you to follow her. How can you follow her when you don't have a clue what she's doing! Good concept, bad execution!
