I have been playing For honor for a long time now. I have managed to buy every illustrious outfit for my main character. Unfortunately, I can only hold up to a total of 60 pieces of gear to interchange with. This may seem like a lot at first, but when you have so many outfits you end up changing gear a lot! I am completely out of room for my main now! People grind for their gear and they truly never have access to all of it due to steel. I am not talking about choosing the perks on the gear. All I am saying is that we should be able to change the gear to anything we want for free... We have already truly earned the gear by grinding or by buying a battle pass! So please UBI change this!

Making gear appearance change free is not going to happen for quite some time IMO. One of the biggest money driving factor of For Honor is the fashion, and if you can change your gear for free than the people will buy less steel for real money, which is bad for Ubisoft,
Well, the devs made XP boosters cheaper with 50% not long ago, so they could do something similar with gear as well. A legendary item cost 400 steel if you want to change the look of it, if the devs would lower it to 200 for example than IMO everyone would be satisfied (even if they don't remove the cost entirely). But remember, that XP boosters costs scrap not steel, and you can't buy scrap for real money.
