The lawyers and bean-counters won't let them, because it might hurt potential future sales. Even if the game+expansion goes as low as $5, that's still continued profit. But if a potential buyer knows that there's nothing else coming ever again, they won't invest time or money in it.Originally Posted by retro1236 Go to original post
As long as there's hope of future developments, existing players likewise won't abandon the game, and might buy cosmetics or something.
All decisions in games these days are based on risk v profit calculations and predictions. It's that simple. There's no money to be made with transparency.
You have transparency for the next 8 weeks, that's more transparency you get compared to most other games. I think it's a little weird to demand this info, but that's my opinion.Originally Posted by retro1236 Go to original post
From your other thread:
Reading this I can understand why you wait for news about the future of this game, since you played this game extensively and almost have nothing to work towards. But maybe you can stop being #5 and do something about #4 to not be so depended on news about Division 2.Originally Posted by retro1236 Go to original post
LOL I own most games that interest me, still coming back to this one..so I guess #5 is me..Originally Posted by SevenNVD Go to original post![]()
We are in the Seasonal Manhunt 4 now genius. That's what he is saying. Also, it wouldn't be a season 3. It would be Season Pass 3 if they decide to do one.Originally Posted by retro1236 Go to original post
expect an announcement around the time the fay lau manhunt starts, they will either announce a year 3 expansion or div 3 for 2022 ( my bet is year 3 content )
anyone following the leaks knows that the ending for this season will be quite juicy and lead to something major.
this isn't the end for div 2 just yet.
also please remember new year just started people are still coming back from work so expect a STOG next week ( sadly, hoped it would be today ).
and they also did say that it was a mistake to release a sequel to a live service game so soon and they want their live service games to mature more before a sequel.
im betting we will have 2021 and MAYBE 2022 of div2 content but most likely 2022 is for div3.
I hear Massive is working on an open world Star Wars game now.
If Division 3 is real, I speculate that Massive aren't the ones leading it.
