So removing the AoE? Kinda makes WM a boat load weaker and no longer a hero who isolates like she's designed to do. Only way I can see this working is if she's allowed to corrupt multiple people with her T1. Damage wise we can just fix her ability to double dip with her feats. Meaning her corruption damage never gets stronger when she unlocks that feat. Instead only her attacks get stronger with that feat. You could still see extra damage on targets if circles overlap like how things are now.
Well, her target would still take heavy damage if the team mates are sticking on him.

Why not simply make corruption work on everybody ? including her teammates ? So it will still work as anti gank, but without allowing the warmo team to gank safely themselves. Like, the whole warmo team can't be near a teammate and the enemy team the same, so that everybody is forced to "duel" somehow

And it will allow the warmo to safely fight the commander in breach, but not for his whole team to have enough time to just destroy his health in 20 sec

If it was that way, I would even be for a rising of the damage if people do not run away from their teammates

Oh I misunderstood. So DoT would still be in play. But only to the corrupted target. I'll need to think on that.

Would massively open up the flood gates to griefing. Not to mention single pick isn't enabled so a full team of WM's on either or both sides would make things very...annoying.

Yes, the main target would receive the current dot damage (all of them with tier 4, but they would not stack, so it would not instakill teams from full, and I think with this nerf the other two T4 would be an interesting choice to consider). It is objectively weaker that way, but then it is a valid point to think through if you are going to advance on the Warmonger and have the main target tank the damage, or you let the corrupted target alone for potentially more damage.

Subjectively, it will be actually stronger in avarage matchmaking. I think people mainly avoid the dot because they don't want to die, but I strongly doubt they would care about their team mate enough to abandon a potential opportunity to needlessly feed revenge killing blow. I have seen many times people ignoring their 1hp team mate and just running through them, so enforcing this behaviour for the usual players would compensate WM appropriately. For Ranked, it would not be a ROLL OR DIE situation, it would be a strategic choice to decide if you wait for the dot to be cleaned, or don't waste time and accept the damage.

    Abu: So...
    1. I pick Warmonger with autorevive, the other team mate does the same. We infect two people, then we will switch target and chase them down until everyone dies. We get up at the end (or don't even die since we are healed by our own corruption).
    2. Me and my team mate pick Warmonger, one of use picks Autorevive, the other picks Corruption Blast. We run into the crowd, the Corruption Blast infects everyone. I chase them down to kill them, if I die, I get up and continue.
    3. I pick Black Prior with the area shield, and chase everyone while protecting myself from the damage. They die.
    4. Warmonger+Lawbringer's impale into Longarm/Raider's stampade charge.
    5. Last Laugh (I won't even go into details here).
    6. Corruption, chased by a Gryphon who outheals your hp.
    7. If the corruption would actually infect the team mate, I won't even go into the things that would do. Again, Last Laugh.

It still would break the flow of fighting for a single person, basically forcing them to roll out of the fight or fight alone to not get any dmg.

I personally don’t think that it will solve anything the feat will still completely ruin the Flow of. Fights, which as mentioned I don’t like at all.

Weeellllll... Last laugh would be glorious imo lmao

Warmongers could litterally use peacekeepers as hand grenade 😂
