So I've been playing AC Origins after buying it on discount, but there was a problem.
The framerate was way too low. No matter which graphic setting I apply on the game, either very low or high, the fps will eventually drop down to 18-28 fps. That means that when I start the game, the framerates stables at 40-45 fps, but at a point of time (when I call Senu, fast travels, closing the menu), it suddenly drops.
I've done everything I could to fix this problem. I've optimized with Nvidia Control Panel, lowered the settings even more, checked for malware, and there were no other applications running in the background, but it still doesn't work.
Hey Richard20065, thanks for getting in touch and apologies about the delayed response from our team.
Would you be able to clarify what CPU are you using?
We are aware that some AMD CPU's have been encountering FPS or freezing issues with the game, this is a known issue with these processors when they reach a certain temperature.
We are working on this to see what can be done from our side but in the meantime, if you are using AMD CPU, could you try reaching out to AMD support for assistance with adjusting your settings to get the best performance without overheating. A good cooling solution would also help to improve this issue.
