    About exotic items ...

I was going to do a poll, but due to the amount of exotic items it would be unfeasible, so I chose two items that honor the item name "EXOTIC" and two exotic items that are just a joke.

As a weapon, I choose NEMESIS, which by far is the best sniper rifle (second only to the TAC-50 specialization weapon), it has absurd damage when compared to other sniper rifles, but to compensate for this it is the second weapon more difficult to play, which I think is great, because this is a characteristic of it ... and that prevents everyone from wanting to play with it and see that absurd amount of players with the same build.

Equipment I could not choose other than the MEMENTO backpack ... when I think of a backpack, the first one that comes to mind is it and all comparisons with the other backpacks are made with it , I just think it doesn’t pay for sniper builds, but for all other types of builds, it’s the first name that comes to my mind.

As for the bad exotic weapon I'm in doubt between Chameleon and Merciless (the weapon with the most difficult mechanics), but I keep CHAMELEON, which is one of the most beautiful weapons, but I found her firepower low, mainly due to the amount high required to activate one of her sub-talents 30 headshots (as if it were easy) or 30 leg shots or 60 body shots.

Weak exotic equipment (my opinion) I was in doubt between the Dodge City Gunslinger's holster (it was much better in gear 1.0), the BSTU Datagloves and the Vile mask, and I choose the latter (VILE), and I think the talents of these three items could be much better.

    BEST EXOTIC WEAPON/ARMOR:

Capacitor. Simply put, none of the exotic weapons is really all that great, IMO, except under specific conditions. None of them are bad, but none of them really stand out either. However, the Capacitor finally allows Skill builds to do highly respectable shooting damage as well. Which is something they've never really had an option to have before.

Memento. All around it's just better at everything. Good in literally any build, in any situation.

    WORST EXOTIC WEAPON/ARMOR

    Merciless. It's crap.

Dodge City Holster. Also crap. Situational in the extreme,. and relies on pistols, which already have issues.

I'm going to disagree with you on the BTSU gloves. I also used to think they were kind of bad, but that's until I used them in an Eclipse Protocol build with Firestarter Chem Launcher and Stinger Hive. Between the bleed, the burn, and the stinger damage, even on heroic the build performs incredibly well. And when you pop the hive to get overcharge? Oof....those status effects hurt!

When running a pure skill build I hate the memento backpack it just cripples me and I have to collect trophies I have base minimum armor not very appealing so I just leave when I see someone using it unless i am running another build. That whole batch of exotics had negatives for some builds.

BTSU gloves and VIle does have uses in certain builds more than i would say gunslinger holster has (people who build towards pistols don't plan on keeping them holstered for 80% of the mission). Problem with Vile is the scalling damage with the granade that honestly makes no sense as people who use it are not investing in explosive damage but in dot damage instead, glvoes i know is popular with some healer builds apparently but i don't have much personal experience.

If you plan on making a poll on what people consider the best exotics it would be better to use some other site to host two polls (like https://www.strawpoll.me/) or make a thread for weapon and another for armor.

For a pure skill build I run I like the Acosta bag I use it with the mad bomber using the fire bomb you get 10 and there is a trick you can use to restock all grenades between battles as long as your out of battle so with that build I have an unlimited supply of fire grenades which work better than a pulse. I have many builds. There are tricks if you can find them. I know a few.

I run a damage-based skill build with the stinger hive as my main skill, so BTSU gloves are my number 1. Prior to Season 4, I had no number 2 pick and now it is the capacitor hands down. With the capacitor at full juice and Perfect Combined Arms my hive has done close to 3 million damage (averages ~1.9mil) with a refill rate of 1.1sec/drone. With overcharge from BTSU gloves I can do it agin real quick. Before I recieved the BTSU gloves and understood their talent, I exclusivity used Acosta's for the overcharge ability.

I have never equipped the Dodge City Gunslinger holster, Liberty Pistol, or Backfire submachine gun.

Other than the Capacitor / Nemesis / Sweet Dreams I barely see myself or anyone else use exotic weapons in our clan. Sweet Dreams is interesting on non DPS builds as a way to clear out non elite ads, Nemesis is just flatout the most consistently strongest sniper in the game.

Chameleon on top of its talent that takes ages to procc is also crazy inaccurate. Eagle Bearer is also subpar nowadays (has its uses in PvP), accuracy is pretty bad compared to pro WoNY, it used to be crazy accurate with sustained fire.
