Is this a new variation on the spawn closet bug?

I've been seeing a lot of this one lately. Based on the Hive behavior it seems it spawned below the map, but what's really interesting is that it's also invincible. In spawn closet bugs of yore I used to be able to kill them so long as I had something that could penetrate walls (like the Hive). You can see it's hitting whatever it is but everything registers as "immune."

P.S. The friendly NPCs never gave up trying to shoot through that wall.

Always run a scanner pulse to confirm the source. Then switch back to your default skill.

This actually looks like a residual (false positive) signature on a downed hostile. This is supported by the fact that your oxidizer returned 'immune' rather than damage numbers.

Hehe, if you want to see a serious FUBAR, throw on a mortar build and run Tombs...
    Spoiler:  Show
Your mortar rounds will phase through the ground on 75% of the terrain there.
