Hey Ubi-Milky,

So I do have an ongoing support case that is aware of this issue (and have provided both screenshot and video evidence), but I'd like to also get your expertise on this frustrating bug.

To be clear, Alpha packs can only be "purchased" with in-game renown, so this issue has absolutely nothing to do with being able to purchase R6 credits (as I purchased some just earlier today without difficulty, and am having no other issues with the game or connections of ANY kind thankfully).

So, those of us, both on console and PC, that are reporting this issue - we simply cannot purchase any alpha packs of any quantity with in game Renown. They simply are never processed after the error message comes up. No renown are taken from the account, so it as if there is an invisible wall denying the purchase of the alpha pack(s).

ive done all the troubleshooting steps twice and submitted photo and video evidence. still nothing

Hello OreoMcFlurryUwU, thanks for getting back to us on this.

We had believed this issue was resolved previously after the SI Charms were released recently, but obviously this has not been the case. I have read up on your case details and can see you have tried the troubleshooting advised for PS5 with no luck. I have forwarded your details onto our team and I have reopened the investigation. I will keep my eyes peeled for more players with the same issue. If you happen to see any more reports of this on the forums or anywhere else please post in this thread and I can pass this information on too to our QA team, thanks again for the help Oreo, we will try our best to keep you updated when we hear something back.

Thanks for the follow up Whiff_Cream, I have just checked your case over and can see you tried some troubleshooting for your platform with no luck. I will add your name to our investigation and link this thread after merging it with Oreos thread so we can keep this information together. I hope we can update you soon when we have more information to share on this.

Can I also ask, when you see the unlock fail message, do you lose that Alpha Pack altogether from your inventory?

Sounds good, thank you for continuing to follow up regarding this bug.

After the unlock failed message appears, we don't lose the alpha pack altogether from our inventory because it was never there to begin with, if that makes sense? At no point will it show an available alpha pack(s) to be opened.

I dont lose the alpha pack because i never get it the purchase fails and no renown is taken out and no alpha pack is granted to me to open

I went for a 2 to 3 week break on rainbow and I still cant buy packs, I dont know anyway to fix this I just hope we get to soon.

Hey guys, I haven't been notified of any updates yet sadly. Pretty awful bug that seems to be happening regardless of the platform that R6 is played on. Really hoping it gets fixed soon.

Still no update on this issue. Im assuming Ubi doesnt care enough to fix this issue since multiple people have been complaining and still nothing is done weeks later. any end in site? Doubtful.
