Might as well, does this give options for anything outside full damage?Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
It does, indeed. 80% and the hunters are no unmanageable threat.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
There really aren't that many options when going after hunters. They constantly use their EMP which makes you own skills useless, and besides this they get hacked and used against you. Just make sure you have enough firepower to instantly take them when out in the open. Otherwise you're in for a long session when they're healing themselves all the time.Originally Posted by desrocchi Go to original post
Going full armored might be an option, although I 'm not convinced it will work that well. If it's not shot to pieces you will go down when they start to use the skills that bypass armor like the stinger hive. And it will take very long time as well using the shield, if it isn't disrupted.Originally Posted by SuicideHero793 Go to original post
Hunters can’t use their EMP on you if you’re fully disrupt resistant. You can use whatever skills you like.Originally Posted by desrocchi Go to original post
Easiest way to defeat the hunters solo is to go full DPS and wait in the room before the observation deck where the hunters spawn. Take the shock trap and deploy them at the entrance (they cannot be disrupted) then wait for the hunters to come up the steps, shock them and melt them.
System Corruption gear set - three pieces offers 40% resistance to disruption. Add disrupt resistance mods to your mod slots. Shock traps and foam work very well. Don't thow the traps outside the door. Throw them inside at the door and wait for them to come to you.Originally Posted by desrocchi Go to original post
Well, it is seriously challenging, but possible. I did get them both with my status build one play through, but like you said the skills were almost constantly disrupted and it was a PITA timing it just right.Originally Posted by desrocchi Go to original post
My strategy moving forward was my status build to clear floor 1-99, then switch to my (almost) all-red Hunter build with Chatterbox. You cannot go into the observation room with them otherwise they'll nail you with all of their skills at the same time, so I waited in the queue area, took pot shots at them with a rifle, and eventually they come up after me. The doorway is a natural pinch point so I tear into them as soon as they crest the stairs coming towards said door.
I've had zero issue doing it this way and defeated them fairly easily every time since.
I use a 4 red build with the Scorpio, a rifle, revive hive and shock traps. I have the Zero F's chest (perfectly unbreakable) and a Golan rolled to yellow with armor regen for survivability. Deploy shock traps in the doorway and plink at the hunters until they approach the door. Switch to Scorpio to take them down.
Only to some extent. I've seen one melee attack take out all of a PFE equipped team mates armor.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Full disrupt resistance allows you to deploy your skills whenever you want. It won't stop offensive skills (drones, turrets, seekers) from being hacked once they're deployed. However, shock traps will remain active. The hive won't function during disruption.Originally Posted by D-Y-N-4-M-O Go to original post
-Spec Survivalist for 10% Protection from EliteWhat build would that be?
-6 Mods with at least 10% PfE each, better 12%
-Three improvised Gearpieces for being able to put mods into (gloves, knees, holster)
That’s the only way to reach high PfE-values.
Rest is up to you.
I use unbreakable and CC/CHD for the rest.
Shield an SMG.
This way I also take down heroic rogues with ease.
PS: also great for farming CP4s.
My healer hive still works. Tested it many times. Obviously your skills could be hacked so I'd suggest using the ones you hold and not deployed on the ground or air.Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
Like I said I'd just use DPS and shock traps or, if you can't be bothered waiting for them to come up the steps use perfect focus/vigilance and Nemesis in the right build its a 2 shot & dead before they can even heal.
