Fingers partially exposed-firm fit almost compression. Material is washable. Helps the stiffness from trauma(fractures) induced arthritis. My hands are not pretty. Color scheme is "material gray", no racing strips, lightening bolts or glowing runes.

Thankfully I've never really suffered from any gaming-related hand problems. The worst I ever used to get was a minor case if "writer's cramp" from PlayStation controllers due to them being too small for my hands.

But I can see how gloves specifically engineered to give support to gamer hands could be invaluable to people that suffer carpal tunnel or joint pain.

Although a lot depends on how much they cost, I suppose.

I have pretty bad carpal tunnel but it only affects me with a mouse. My hand loses feeling on a mouse after only a few minutes nowadays. Mostly my middle, ring and pinkie fingers.

I use a controller now and I also don't like the tiny PS controller. I use an Xbox controller. I even use an Xbox controller on my Playstation. Microsoft Elite controller on PS and PowerA Fusion Pro on PC. The Fusion Pro is the biggest and most comfortable by a long shot.

I hate gloves. Even before I retired from construction, I hated to wear gloves. My hands got tough as leather over decades of handling building materials and tools bare handed.

Have you tried the Switch Pro controller? $50 in most places, and probably one of the most comfortable "cheap" controllers I've ever used.

Thanks. It looks comfy but I'm really spoiled on the back paddles. I can't even play without them now.

I use these when I play Sim racing with wheel. Then you do not get sweaty on your hands in a 2 hour race (assetto corsa competizione)
