Is leaning control DISCRETE or CONTINUOUS?
When I see some videos of tracks playthrough, controls display on left bottom of screen, shows that player use stick very precisely like volume control. So I wonder is it same to control leaning on analog stick and buttons? Maybe with stick you have much more steps of leaning control then with buttons? And if it discrete, how many steps it have in total? In TRIALS FRONTIER there were 4 steps: sitting back and pushing, sitting back non pushing, standing pushing and standing non pushing. What about RISING?

Joysticks are like triggers, they work on an axis. They are continuous. If you lightly press forward or back, the rider will slowly move into a full sit or lean. The joystick also acts as the force or speed it takes to move into that position.
A button is more discreet, its either pressed or not, full force or no force.

Thanks. I understand difference between button and stick. The question is about game physics difference when I control with stick or buttons. You said that with stick you can lean slowly, with precise position control, right? As you can not do it with buttons.

Correct. I was testing with xb1 controller. When I tapped D-pad once, the rider moved from a sitting to standing, then into a lean with another press. I could not lightly press to inch the movement.
