My Latest NG+ Campaign - Operation Greystone

I spent some of my time off over the holidays working on a new NG+ campaign that leverages many of the in-game missions in a different way.

The basic premise is that you are a Wolf gone rogue (or anyone else that's been on the island for some time). It does NOT involve SOF infiltrating the island, Jace Skell, or Erewhon. It also relies on another player character (using presets) who is a female Skell engineer.

I realize this may not be for everyone, it's really something I wanted to do, and thought I would share it. If you get any ideas from it for your own play, that's fantastic.

I've designed the campaign to accomplish a few things that I wanted to do:
    1. I want to try playing the Pathfinder and wanted a realistic way to justify it. So the first set of missions are based on enabling the Azreal uplink and the tactical cache drops. The character's background also make this very viable.
    2. I want to be able to start with all the world parameters enabled, and disable drones, Azreal, and helicopter patrols through missions. The same goes for the Resistance.
    3. I want to avoid Erewhon and the whole Ghost premise. I want to play someone with at least a brief history on the island who knows people, places, and things.
    4. I want to have two characters, somewhat inspired by the Punisher TV series, where Nomad is the brawn, and another character is the brains to enjoy two very different play styles in one.
    5. I want to play with some new constraints (no suppressors is the big one)

Check it out. If you get into it, and see any ways to make it better, please let me know. There may be missions in the game that would fit into this narrative that I've overlooked. Please let me know.

It hasn't been play tested yet, other than the initial escape mission... so forgive me if there's any issues with it. Again, please let me know.

    Cheers,
    -Chris.

my only problem is starting a new game causes one to lose rewards permanently. I turned in a ticket a long time back on lost items from the terminator event and heard the usual response from ubi *crickets*

... and that totally sucks on the part of Ubisoft ...

As a late-comer to the "party" I learned - only my first character slot is permanent, the other two are "expendable".

What a lousy way to design a game, any game - tying these one-time only event "rewards" to save slots, and not the account.

This is a NG+... in fact it requires you NOT start a new game

As I play through it, I'm updating some details that I overlooked. So be sure to check the link regularly for the latest version. It's now on v1.2

If you'd edit the OP to state latest version that would help also. Thanks.

Neat idea. Looking it over now.

I’m really enjoying playing this so far.

First off, no suppressors is interesting. I almost wish the way enemies respond to a shot heard without suppressors is how they would respond to a shot with a suppressor... perhaps with a little less distance. For example, if you are in ear shot, and fire your unsuppressed weapon, dropping someone, the reaction to the shot (assuming they don’t see the kill or body) is usually “That’s strange, I’m going to check that out”. It’s interesting as I was expecting it to be “Shots fired, we’re under attack!”.

Playing a character using only stealth and only a unsuppressed gun in self defence is new to me and fun. It’s a game of patience and planning. Doing the mission to infiltrate the drone Prototype Workshop was extremely challenging as you need to open three biometric doors at three very different locations, requiring three different dead bodies to do so, as packing one around is just not practical.

The latest update integrates Hill into the story (as the Wolf that betrays you) and as a Finale mission objective.

I'm really keen to hear if anyone can think of a story mission in the game that I've not used that would fit well somewhere in here.
