One thing I would recommend for this and pretty much all open world games developed for consoles and ported to PC is make sure your Paging file is set up as "system managed" because the way these game engines work they will use all your available memory and go to the Page file, it doesn't matter if you have 8, 12, 16 or even 32 GB of memory they will use every last bit and start moving old memory to the Page file .... By letting Windows manage the file size then you only use what you need in normal use (A few GB) but it will expand to whatever it needs to be for gaming, generally up to twice you memory size ..... If your Page file is too small you'll either get severe stuttering or the game will outright CTD and while you could just manually set your Page file to twice you memory size you are actually better off letting Windows manage it because as it shrinks and grows it also defrags while with a fixed size Page file fragmentation becomes a real issue after just a few weeks
Same issue - clocked up over 100 hours of gameplay with no issues, suddenly starts randomly crashing every 15 mins or so. First happened a couple of weeks ago when fighting the Cyclops in the cave - since then it's been regularly crashing several times a day..
My PC is well above minimum specs, just annoying as this looks like a fairly common problem.
