    Game doesn't work after the mission "Under Siege"

    So I completed the Under Siege mission and the screen cuts to black. Supposedly some cut scene should start, but it doesn't. I wait for 20-30 minutes, still a black screen. (This is not the first time this has happened in a Ubisoft game...) So I shut down with Alt-F4 and restart the game.

    As soon as I enter the game I get the prompts from the Under Siege mission with green check marks finally telling me to enter Prosperity. There is a blue marker on the thing where you upgrade Prosperity but it can't be activated. Nor is there an option in the menu to leave the mission. It's just broken.

    What do I do? There are no manual saves, but can the game be restored from an older save somehow.

    Since I haven't gotten a reply on either this forum or through the support function I have no idea if anyone has looked into my problem or not.

    Yes, I have gone through the troubleshooting steps, but to no avail.
