Title says it, in that mission the optional objective of dumping 10 tea crates is impossible for me because the game only counts one of every five or six crate i toss into water. So the crew reaches 100 or one of the two guys i am to protect dies. Tried reinstalling. What else?
Hello there delsaur! Welcome to the forums
I'm sorry to hear this. If you haven't already, please could you try verifying your game files?
Are you able to load an earlier save file at all to see if it works when replaying the mission? Thanks!
Thank you for your interest.
I cant see a verify option as your link suggests. Play, view game details, uninstall, mark as favourite, hide. And i cant find a verify option in the game details either. And i didnt play the game since my post, so i dont know what happens when replaying the mission, i didnt want to proceed without full sync.
My launcher: I bought the game on steam and the first thing i did when the issue happened was to verify it on steam, so when i said i cant verify i was talking about ubisoft connect since the link you shared was i guide to that.
Result of replay: The same, but in both first play and replay, count rate seems to be higher when the character isnt moving when tossing, especially if the crate didnt move at all. Like it is more likely to count if i pick up and throw without moving or turning in any direction, but still not guaranteed.
And when i said reinstalling didnt work i had uninstalled and reinstalled on steam, should i try doing the same with ubisoft connect also?
Thanks for the update, delsaur. I've responded to you over in your Steam thread as well.
This support article should help you to verify your game files within Steam. Thanks for letting me know that you've already tried this.
Thank you for taking the time to replay the sequence for me. If possible, would you be able to provide a video of the issue so we can take a closer look at this? In the video, it would be useful to see that the count seems to register more when you move as little as possible (as you have described).
I'd suggest recording a video and then uploading this to a sharing platform (such as YouTube or Google Drive), which will allow you to share a link here. You can record video in-game by using other software, such as the Nvidia ShadowPlay or the Xbox game bar (which is included within Windows 10 PCs).
Thanks!
I have windows 10, no search result for nvidia so i tried on xbox game bar, created an acc and found out how to record. I press the shortcuts (windows alt r) and the recording symbol appears with timer. After 30-40 seconds an error appears saying ''record not working'' (this is my translation i dont use pc in english and error code is 0x82323007), and in the gallery i get a 3 seconds long record which shows my chrome page instead of the game. And when i try after closing every other window except the game, it is all the same with the only difference being that there is nothing in the gallery this time, not a 3 seconds video of my desktop or something. I googled the error code but all the answers in xbox forums are links that are leading to one another (like some people have the issue and they are all given each others threads as answers, and no explanation in either). I guess i will try reinstalling in ubisoft connect as well, and you didnt say anything about verify option not appearing. You dont need to answer twice by the way, i check both threads regularly
Should i try downloading nvidia or fixing xbox?
Sorry for the delayed response, delsaur.
I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble recording a video. I'd recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support regarding the error you're encountering with the Xbox Game Bar.
Have you been able to use any other screen recording software to capture the footage? There are other programmes available (depending on your GPU - I'm aware that Radeon also has its own recording software that's included with the graphics card).
Thanks!
