Thatcher only needs a good Bandit trick to counter.. As for Maverick get the angle right and you just shoot him in the face to counter him. It was a while ago now but i thought of reworking Goyo as a Maverick counter, He no longer has the shields but he still has the red tank of fuel with the side plates on it. He is able to place the fuel can on shields, walls and floors. So you place it on a reinforced wall, Maverick comes along with his torch and blows himself up.

You know darn well shooting is not considered a counter. And that explosion thing I thought of to. But the odds of him hitting it accidentally is just not enough. As for bandit tricking, it gets old doing this every map every round every day every year every season.. Its just not gud. No reason a "Fortified Barricade" cannot exist. Castle was an idea , where he somehow uses his barricades instead of the metal ones, but its only common knowledge that Maverick and his Coleman camping torch is unstoppable for the time being. Castle would need another buff where He does doors, windows, hatches and walls along with another buff being that microwave installation and heat resistance. Id rather see the new op, because Castle will never get it.

So do you not think my operator that places a new kind of mat on an electrified walls that is shock proof to allow Thermite, Hibana and Ace to do their jobs better, wouldn't help solve this issue you have with Bandit tricking year on year season on season?

No. The mat is a good idea in terms of "I want in" but it makes the idea of even reinforcing walls pointless. At this point thats already happening. A reinforced wall is becoming a wooden barricade. As for Bandit, hes one of the best gunners in the game, whose going to volunteer to stand in the wide open with a battery ready for the first minute of the game while uour team struggles without the support. A new material is still requiring a lot of utility use. First the reinforcements, than the mesh, than a claw or battery, possibly a jager ads, and even a pest or electrocuted barbed wire for a shock drone comming through the drone hole. Your mat would just negate 4 operators gadgets in this scenario and simply say "let me in". Its already doing that without the heat treated fortified t1000 titanium alloy reinforcements .

I think your missing point dude, Attack HAS to have some way of getting through reinforced walls, its the reason theirs operators dedicated to it.

I do, It's called teamwork, Bandits job is prevent hardbreachers from doing their job, if that means i sit at a wall then holding a battery the entire game and what's required for us to win then so be it.

So would an Ash/Zofia breaching round from above or below.... If the floor was soft that is.

Anyway my mat operator is still hard countered by Mute, Attack still has to get rid of the jammers in some way. You complained about the " Bandit trick meta " my mat is a solution to that and you just can't see it. It's just a matter of bringing the correct operator to counter another, that's what siege is about, team work and using operators abilities effectively.

Your idea having this special metal or a Faraday mesh for the wall reinforcements to block Thatchers EMPs it's clever i'll give you that and like it in that sense. But as stated before it doesn't change the " Bandit meta " you were complaining about of all things it would only worsen things because for it to block Thatcher's EMPs it has to technically block the effect of Mute's jammers rendering him useless, not exactly teamwork is it...?

If the mats only worked on hatches than its a pretty fair trade off. Maybe a rubber hatch mat could be a secondary. Maybe it'll get some use, maybe it wont be necessary. Give you access but not a skeleton key. Could just be tossed like an floppy rubber frisbee so it wont be something that sticks if its thrown at a main point of entry. Garage wall. Could be an option for operators like, Thatcher or Twitch, maybe I.Q. uhhhhhh maybe Zero could get also.

Yep, it could indeed work as a secondary gadget. We have the secondary hard breaching tool, why not a secondary tool that can help you get through electrified walls and hatches.
