    DZ players

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the DZ, that is a given.

But if you are the type of individual that waits until someone is extracting to run up behind them while they are engaged with the enemy npc's, go rogue and shoot them in the back well, you're just a LOSER! Plain and simple and you can justify it in your head that it is PvP, that's what the DZ was made for, blah blah.

Funniest is when the bag drops and then they rub their thing against a hard object while camping my dropped resources praying and hoping I'll rage and come back to fight them... Hahahahaaaaaaahahaaaaaaa. Resources are a dime a dozen and playing out some "I wish my life had meaning" fantasy in the DZ is useless. I/we have better things to do. Hahahaaaaa.

If the developers gave a single damn about all of their players, Conflict and Occupied DZ's would be the only places you can go "rogue". They can have their only this will drop in the occupied or conflict areas. There are people who exist for PvP and others who do NOT. However, this is a great formula for dividing your players and causing fighting in the forums.

    Happy New Years regardless.

i feel ya and yes, people will crap all over this post. IMO Its just the zones are too small, youll never get rid of the opportunistic crowd who lives for shooting folks in the back but in TD1 you could play cat and mouse with them, in this game you simply cant, every extraction is reachable by simply running to it. I imagine in TD3, the DZ will be monstrous and somewhat back to something people actually want to play.

    .

Don't blame the player. Blame the game.

Trying to mix PVP and PVE is always going to fail. People play those game modes for entirely different reasons. And the DZ is not even a good example of an attempt to mix the two. Quite frankly, after the burning train wreck of Division 1's attempt to make the DZ good, I'm surprised that Massive put it in the second game too.

So help me god, if there's a DZ in division 3, I'm not buying it. Stupidest f**king idea ever envisioned for a looter shooter.

Look, Massive. If you want to make a PVP game about the Dark Zone...cool. Join the club of Battle Royale games. But if you have ANY intentions of doing PVE again....just don't. Leave the PVP out. It's done nothing but attract hackers, cheaters, degenerate "PVPers", and continuously screwed up the balance of the game. Not to mention being a cesspit of hateful little sh*ts on their mics vomiting racism and anything else vile they can think to say.

PVP in the Division: Just don't.

This dubious PvEvP thing, never seen in other games (at least, I haven't noticed this in all games I've ever played), ruin this game and ruin the experience of other players as well.

The best way to solve this problem is to implement a PvP on / off switch, as in WoW, for example. You can see all the players around you, but you can't engage them if they have that switch set to "PvP off". Especially for those idiots who camp players at checkpoints and kill them while they're still on loading screen. And for those imbeciles who use cheats and hacks in PvP. The moment I can pass of such an idiot: priceless.

Maybe new year will bring us this switch, hopefully. It will be the greatest game change ever and will populate again the deserted DZs, as they are now. This way players can fight together, help each other, change items between them, hunt rogues even if they are not in the same group (actually, this is possible now too), and, best thing, those rogues should be ranked down, as in RDR 2 for example.
Those incompetent developers could take all this positive elements from other games as an example and work on them to make this game better and draw more players in.

    Here’s an even better one.
Engage a Heroic landmark, second player joins, playing together no issues, pick them up twice then while I am killing the boss they go rogue and shoot me in the back at the same time. I have learned come back and pickup any gear as this happens to me a lot as a solo player.

Oh, this is happening on daily basis, it's nothing new. I know, there is "trust no one" applicable thing, but some of those kids (yes, most of them, if not all, are spoiled kids, grown ups will never do this) are abusing too hard of this. Because they can't understand what purpose of DZ is. And developers messed up all this concept, being incapable to fix it.

I don't have related demographics but I doubt that. And if this is true then those grown ups have serious mental issues.

I loved the DZ , solo player farming landmarks , yes i got melted at extraction a few times or more , but that is what made it good for me, and you farmed some loot from cache , But they made the cache lot contaminated , and i never went back in, so i do not know what it is like now ,
But i always said from the start that this pvp / pve mix made for a bad time for most , I had some rotten days i DZ , and when the cheating got bad and the campers started killing you as you left the safe zone , it was mayhem ..

it is great the way they made it so you could cut the rope and grieve players , but they would not give us a torch in pve ?..

they need to give us back the uncontaminated cache or give us a safe box in DZ to collect a few bits and clean them ? with say 24 hour wait ,?. I know it is meant to be pvp , but if they lock loot in there we need to try and get it. solo or team ..

I feel the same way about the devs , they just do not care and have shown it all through the game with the stupid changes they make and say it is to balance the game ? and here we are in the end game and still no balance , i wonder what the 3rd beta game will be like ?..

No... BLAME the player. 99.99% of the little $hits I have the displeasure of running across in the DZ are psychotic, basement dwelling monsters with anger and ePeen envy issues.

100% agree with you here. PVP is just as sole destroying as online dating for all men!
