Devs can make aramusha viable, with only these 2 small changes

i know that Dev's want to make less effort but the best result due the very long problematics of the smart working and many other things....this can be the solution

I've been sure to keep the team updated with how the community feels about Ara's current state. I know players are looking for a bit more viability in 4s and duels, and while I don't have any info to share at this time, if I get any, we'll be sure to let everyone know when we can!

After watching the video this is actually very well thought out.

It would solve almost all of Aramusha's problems in both 1s & 4s.

    Get it done Ubi.

So, it's an interesting proposition. This idea effectively turns Aramusha's defensive full-block stance into both a defensive and offensive type of stance, similar to Nobushi's Hidden Stance, or Shaolin's Qi stance, or Highlander's offensive stance.

Instead of making his full-block more offensive, I think the team should focus on making his chains more oppressive. We all know that if Aramusha tries to chain a side heavy after another side heavy, it becomes a finisher. Those finishers should be unblockable, that way his deadly feints might work better, and it would be a better pressure tool all around in 4s.

Aramusha suffers against bashes. He's one of the very few characters that doesn't have a dodge attack, and this makes him absolutely terrible against a hero like BP or Conq. If Aramusha had a way to counter bashes, it might even the playing field significantly.

Aramusha's unblockable heavy option after a blockade should be faster. It's too slow to be any real threat.

Aramusha should have an option to perform some kind of 360 degree undodgeable zone clear after a blockade to really showcase his "get off me" style of play against multiple opponents.

To sum up; all heavy finishers should be unblockable for more pressure, he needs a dodge attack for bashes, his UB heavy after blockade needs to be faster, and he needs an option to hit many opponents at once after a successful blockade.

With this, I think it would improve Aramusha's chain pressure without turning his defensive blockade tool into an offensive one.

I like this suggestion a lot!! Make it very useful on even 2v2 with the unblockble heavy

I don't even play aramusha, but I do play heroes with full block stance, and it is indeed a weird fact that he can't chain anything from his full block like any other character with any stance. Hidden, stance, sifu stance, and overall all stance in the game can initiate something.

I feel the kick from neutral is a bit over the top tho. Maybe simply giving him the possibility to go for a light and a heavy at will ? which lead to his infinite chain anyway so still useful ( I mean, the kick is the equivalent of warlord shield bash if I understand well, so it is definitely a counter attack, not something you should be able to throw from neutral)

yes if the Kick had been neutral, it would actually have had a great advantage, perhaps exaggerated, this is why in my suggestion you still have to start the FULLblock and then be able to use either the KICK or the side unblockable, but your suggestion is still valid, the mine serves to simplify but it is not necessarily perfect for him
