Why?
It's simple. At level 5, they calmly gain plus 800 to attack. It would seem that you can use metamorphosis or other magic, but firstly it is not profitable for the price, and secondly, magic is needed for Stan 1000 Moons, the frontier Bradley, and many other characters. Such as Daddy Timmy, MBP, Liane, pilot Bradley, characters with different abilities that need to be blocked. Now, in order to resist the enemy, you need to take with you almost all the magic that you can, and now in one deck the enemy can have 4-5 cards at once, which if not removed, then the enemy gains an advantage that will not lose.
How to resist a deck in which Stan 1000 moons, frontier Bradley, Santa Claus, Dark Angel, Inka Craig, Eskimo Kenny, Jew, Daddy Timmy, and now Woodland Critters.
I see several solutions.
1. Add two separate additional slots just for magic. Also add new magic to all themes. (12 + 2)
2. Due to the large number of cards in the game, it is impossible to work out a strategy, therefore it is necessary to limit some combinations of cards. To do this, you need to use only one topic plus a neutral one. (only for PVP). The exception is magic. Otherwise, the game will turn into a blunt use of strong cards and their combinations from different topics. What we can observe - in each deck there is a frontier Bradley, a dark angel with a Jew, Stan 1000 moons with Santa, Inca Craig.
3. Give new and not only cards characteristics without restrictions. Effects should be limited to 2-3 uses. Repeated use is unfair to magic.
P.S. Frontier should give area damage equal to his attack bonus, not allies' attack. 20-40 is quite enough.
Why dont you want strong cards? Do you like playing with weak cards?
I dont understand your reasons for a nerf or some of your slang words like daddy timmy and who did what to be "unfair to magic"? I think that's only a sin in harry potter world, not south park.
Every new card is called overpowered (OP) when theyre first released.
thunderbird, city wok guy, even firkle was called out for needing a nerf even before he was released.
I tried to warn other players with no logic what so ever about firkle but nobody took me seriously, now look at the powerhouse of goths.

The game started off where rarity did not matter, and everyone was using commons and rares. everyone main deck was heidi, stg, pzn, angel wendy, friar etc. When commons were easy to get over legends and they shared similar stats to legends they were the stronger choice due to availability Then legendary buff changed it so commons were garbage, and the harder to obtain cards took the crown.

After reading Polotenchiklive's post, I think we can do better than this!! We can completely remove all these extraneous themes! Why do we need them? Just use neutral for everybody! This will remove, like, ALL the unfair cards Polotenchiklive was naming, and probably also the non-existent ones he named too, like whatever that Daddy card is. Yeah, we will lose the spells too, but since all the unfair cards are gone, we won't need them anyways, so I'm sure Polotenchiklive will be in agreement with just scrapping them, too. Of course, we need to remove the unfair neutral cards as well. Pretty much anything with a special ability needs to go. This also means AoE attacks. In fact, we should just scrap all of them except Dogpoo. Every match can easily be decided in a Dogpoo vs Dogpoo competition!! And everybody can have him level 7 to make it fair for everybody! Of course, since they will all be equal power, we will always end in a draw, so to prevent this, we can add an element of chance. When Dogpoo meets Dogpoo on the battlefield, we can have a random number generator decide which one wins, and the winner gets to have the bar!
Sarcasm is good, but you didn't suggest anything concrete or real. This is called non-constructive criticism.
I already see how in a few weeks, when the level of a new card rises for some players, topics will be created where they will require to nerf this card.
And then she will be nerfed in one of the updates. It always happens that way. I propose to break, at least partially, this vicious circle. The thing is, most people cannot think for several weeks ahead, you are one of them. And those who agree with you too. I'll come to the topic where you will discuss the nerf of the new card and will point a finger at you and laugh.
Yeah, you have fun with that. Also, I find it amazing just how naive you are to think that you know anything about me to be able to make such inane comments about my capabilities for thinking ahead, from reading maybe a handful of my posts here, if even that.Originally Posted by Polotenchiklive Go to original post
The entire time I've been playing this game, there's only one card I have argued in favour of nerfing, and that was DAR. And that card is also being called for being nerfed by nearly the entire playerbase, so I am far from the only one. I have never been one to jump on the nerf train that several here seem ready to hop onto at the drop of a hat. Instead, it is more constructive to buff the cards that suck, and the OP cards will be easier to handle.
As far as your ridiculous notion of increasing deck size to 14, and forcing everybody to use 2 spells? No. Just no. The one Chaos Mode that automatically added the Goth Kids showed how bad an idea that is. It was a nightmare cycling the deck. After just one match, I rebuilt my Chaos deck to include all the Goth Kids, so I could run a normal 12 card deck rather than a 16 card deck. I do not want a 14 card deck, nor do I want to be railroaded into using specific card types that I don't want to use. Some people may be fine with 2 (or more) spells, but not everybody. Some prefer to use only 1 spell, such as in my case, and some people even prefer to use 0 spells. For me, it depends upon what other cards I'm using. In my alt account's main deck, I do run 2 spells. Some event decks, I've gone with 0.
As for forcing everybody to use only one theme in their decks, instead of two, that is outright preposterous. If you want a single-theme deck, have at it! There is nothing to stop anybody who wants to use only one theme from using just one theme. Don't take the option for a second theme away from everybody else just to serve your own selfish desires. Part of the strategy of deckbuilding comes from how we combine the two themes into building a cohesive deck. Dropping all decks to only one theme would be incredibly boring. It would also be a major problem, as suddenly EVERYBODY'S decks would be broken, and they may not even have enough cards in just one theme leveled up high enough to remain competitive at their current rank. This type of fundamental change to the game should NEVER happen. Plain and simple.
