    General end-year thoughts

    1) I know 'cause the coronavirus it's difficult to work together to release new content, but with Y4 we've got 2 new (op) knights heroes, for a total of 9, while vikings and samurai are 7 and wu-lin only 5... Do you call this balance??? I really hope with new year you'll introduce at least 2 new wu-lin heroes, not just because they have less characters, but also because it's a faction with great potential, for lore and fighters, at same level as the others 3.
    2) With the new CCU update I feel the game so wrong and not as enjoyable as was before. Maybe are just some heroes like Gryphon or Nobushi op, maybe it's the fact that all damages has been reduced, i don't know... But I want back the For Honor I played and loved, please. It can't go on this way anymore.
    3) DO A SHINOBI REWORK ASAP
    4) It would be cool if you add some new armor sets for Shinobi, Gladiator and Highlander
Happy Holidays to all For Honor fans out there.

    1) The amount of heros given this year was done way in advance of anything related to the outbreak. They specifically told us last year that this year was going to be focused on making the game as a whole better which meant less hero releases. We got this mostly from the ccu.

    2) CCU isn't going to be reverted. It's nothing to do with specific heros. You're not allowed to coast on reaction times anymore or make 1-2 lucky guesses and kill someone. Adapt to the way the game is now or be left in the dust.

    3) Agreed. He's the worst designed hero in the roster atm. More so than Jorm or goki.

    4) We were given new armors for heros that were either reworked majorly (ala cent) or representing their faction for the army against Warmonger (aramusha, nuxia, shaman.) Unless the story has something significant like this next year i'm sure those heros will finally get new armor at some point.

The representing faction thing is so funny though.

Knights spent Centurion, who is a legendary leader. Samurai sent Aramusha, who is a wise warrior from a secret order. Chinese spent Nuxia, who looks the least stupid (along with Zhanhu). And Vikings sent... the stupid moron who bites people, tries to eat a coin and stabs herself while sheating her weapons. Guess we know why that rebellion will fail.

I mean Jiang Jun would've been a better pick imo considering his status as a warrior. Zhanhu maybe but he sided with Warmonger iirc. Not sure about female zhanhu. Nuxia is puzzling for me since she's basically an improvized combatent. But maybe she was chosen specifically because the wu-lin presence in the universe is strained and they likely haven't come to any official terms with the other factions. So her being a lower ranking person with least recognition in her faction joining a good cause is the angle the devs took.

I think Shaman was chosen to try and prove that Vikings in a faction aren't just savages. But potentially because of her origins maybe she realized the conflict against WM and friends was a huge threat to everything and she decided to show up. If the Vikings were more united I think we would've seen Warlord or maybe Valk representing. But I just think at best there's a temporary truce with vikings against other factions. I don't think they've truly banned together like Knights and samurai have against said threat.

Though it's entirely possible she was just picked as the fan favorite of Vikings and there's no deeper lore behind it. IIRC Gryphon learns from Highlander and no one else in the viking faction.

    2) you got a point, and I accept it, adapt or die... It's easy. But I really wish to know if major part of old-school for honor player can adapt to new upgrades and still enjoy the game as was about a year ago.
    4) Yep, you're right. Let's see how story evolve then...
