    just wanna confirm before purchasing,
does the PC version provide PlayStation/ Nintendo controller UI?
(PS4 UI is probably there since Odyssey and other ubi games got it, wanna confirm)

I have PS4 controller native support, get PS4 button prompts, but am using a USB cable. I have not tried with bluetooth as I never have much luck with DS4 controller and BT unless a Steam game.

I uninstalled the DS4 driver and just used steam. You can add non steam games to your library and if you launch them through there it will use the Steam Controller configurations.
It does emulate the Xbox controller so the games thinks it is a wireless xbox ABXY controller.

When you say DS4, I meant strictly DualShock 4 controller no 3rd party app, driver do you mean the Windows drivers that appear in Device Manager > Human Interface Devices > HID-Compliant Game Controller and Device Manager > Sound, video & game controllers > Wireless Controller or do you mean a 3rd party app like DS4Windows by Jays2Kings?

using steam for DS4 in ACO (& most recent ubi games) is unnecessary,
they can detect its a DS4, dispaly ▢△XO, and even touchpad can be used.
but i'm asking just to confirm, ubi can move backwards sometimes lol.

i remember in ACOd there's an option to show PlayStation UI no matter what input (/emulated) controller is.
probably one of the best thing ubi has done, as pc controllers shouldn't be monopolised by microsoft.

i do wonder if they officially support Nintendo Switch controller though.

So I fooled around with both my DS4 and Switch.. WIRELESSLY using Blue Tooth
Neither controller would work for me without going through Steam or using DS4Windows (Emulating a Xbox controller)

    When using Steam: [Wirelessly]
I could not get the Native ▢△XO to come up and it did not allow me to pick the Playstation UI
It and the Switch were emulating Xbox

I could not get either controller to work wirelessly (even though they show as paired and connected in Devices) Without using either Steam or a 3rd party program.

Last Wired. DS4 Controller worked wired (USB)
When wired it DID use the ▢△XO display scheme.

Switch Pro Controller did not work wired (USB) without the use of Steam (or 3rd party program) at all and was not recognized by the game.

Note I tested each controller on https://gamepad-tester.com/ to be sure Windows 10 was seeing the controller.

Switch wired would only work through Steam and continued to emulate the Xbox (only it swapped the A<=>B and the X<=>Y buttons)

So if when you get this and IF you get it working with its Native Button Scheme please by all means come back and let me know that is worked and if you had to do anything special to get it to work.

I made sure to remove ALL 3rd party drivers and scrubbed the DS4Windows / ViGEm / SCPSerever ect.. from my system so I only have Steam installed.I closed it before running IFR from the Ubisoft Connect shortcut.

I did also edit the ImmortalsFenyxRising.ini that the games does create in the Documents\Immortal Fenyx Rising folder, but that seemed to do nothing
    There is a [Input] section
SelectedPad=PS4 Controller does nothing to the display UI (I added that line as it was not generated by the Game - it does not delete it either)

@Plan3tCrackr When I say DS4 Driver I meant the DS4Windows driver/application. Removed all remements of that and then let Microsoft find and use its own driver. When I did this wired it worked fine and I had the ▢△XO in Game without using Steam for anything. Steam being closed down and not running at all.
Wireless it did not work at all in game. (Tested the controller was paired and connected via Bluetooth using https://gamepad-tester.com/ )

I'm a newbie here. I have a open question to all. Which source do you use to update your windows driver? I have been searching for a free source not paid. If you have something that can help me please let me know. Thank you!
