In this rework idea, I don't really go into Conqueror's problems, because I would totally run out of space. In short, he has lackluster offense, completely unbearable out of stamina pressure, and the strongest defense in the game. Judging from his trailer, he was not designed as this extremely technical turtle- he was designed as a brute who was taken off the hanging tree, and beats everyone to death with his monstrous strenght, while also being tough enough to withstand everything.


New moveset:


Chains: Infinite chain, with 500ms lights and 800ms heavies from any side. They all deal their current damage. The second light from the same side is not slower anymore, and the chained top lights are enchanced (not stopped on block).

Zone: Zone costs 40 stamina, deals 12 damage and does not grant Fullblock. Starts chains.

Bashes no longer drain any stamina, nor do they stop stamina regeneration. I would look into the forward bash timing as well, but that might not be necessary.

Chained bashes and softfeitn bashes are 500ms, but they only start chains on hit, and grant a guardbreak window similar to Gryphon's kick. Both wallsplats now.

Fullblock: entering costs 6 stamina, and it grants superior block for all sides. Changing guard is still possible, slowly walking is possible, counterguardbreaking is not. From fullblock, pressing heavy after a succesful block grants the flail uppercut. In addition, Conqueror can throw out unblockable heavies from fullblock, which has the same softfeint rules.

Flail charging: In addition to fullblock cancel, Conqueror can no cancel heavy attacks by holding the Heavy button, canceling the move into the flail charge. The charged flail attack now grants hyperarmor from 400ms, keeps the normal, changable block and the walking property, Conqueror can dodge out of it, and can throw a normal light attack out of it as well. Starting it costs 6 stamina, and an additional 2 every second he keeps the flail swinging. Like with Fullblock, counterguardbreaking is not possible here either.

The flail charging and the fullblock can be canceled into each other.
