Bought on steam, ibisoft connect ask for cd keys, no way to contact support.

    Hi

1 hour and 20 minutues now, wasted to try and start an Ubisoft game... You pay for game, that what you get, you download pirated, cracked version no problems. Why I force myself to pay you guys is beyond me. I stopped paying EA 2 years ago. As hard as it is to believe, there is something even worse then Ubisoft Connect and that is EA's Origin.

So, how do I start Ubisoft game bought on steam? Or should I refound and just keep using free, working versions ?

    Cheers,
    Agent Smith.

Hello there A6en7Smi7h! Welcome to the forums

I apologise for the delayed response. I'm sorry to hear you've encountered this issue. To correct this situation, I would like to suggest that you follow the steps below.

Please, navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher cache folder, by default located here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache

Open the cache folder and move the "ownership" folder to a safe location. Once you have backed up that folder, delete the "cache" folder. After deleting the cache folder, please verify the game files within Steam. If an issue is found, you will be given the option to Repair, click Repair. After repairing the issue, please verify the game again until no issues are found.

When this has been completed, try launching the game again.

If the issue persists, please don't hesitate to update us. Thanks!

I have the same issue. I purchased Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Ultimate Edition and got AC3, AC4 Black Flag, AC Syndicate, & AC Unity in the bundle. However, every time I try to play any of these games Ubisoft Connect pops up asking me to put in the CD key. There isn't one. I've checked, double checked, uninstalled and re-downloaded, verified game integrity, and now followed your above instructions to the letter. Nothing works. I still cannot play my games without a CD key which doesn't exist since I bought it on steam and there is no CD key available on steam for these games.

I even own most of these games on PS3 but prefer to game on my PC so figured I'd re-buy them again here. Surely there must be a way for me to get a key that allows Ubisoft Connect to update these games into it's game library.

And yes, I've checked the account is the same, it is linked to my Steam account, and still it only shows that I have For Honor. It is missing all 6 of the AC games I've purchased on Steam.

I tried to put in a ticket and the submit button doesn't do anything. It just scrolls the page up to the possible issues none of which are my issue.

    Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
