Reveal POI's only
Checklist only
Reveal POI's and have a checklist
Neither, game is fine as is!
I'm loving this game so far, with a little over 30 hours in.
I finished all of Aphrodite's quests, received her blessings, and even did her favor in which you had to hunt down those 4 tough creatures.
Afterward, I was picking up the remaining icons in the Valley of Eternal Spring and I realized there was a lot I hadn't discovered yet. I'm worried I'd end up missing a chest or something - I hope there's a way, later on, to have the rest of the POI's filled in on the map, after completing a certain feat or milestone.
Obviously, half of this game is focused on exploration, so I'm not asking for the POI's to pop up super quickly, because then it would take away greatly from the exploration aspect. However, if you take Ghost of Tsushima for example, they had a nice feature wherein once you completed all of the outposts for a region, the rest of that region would unfog, and any POI's would pop up as ?'s
With Immortals, maybe (fully) completing the vaults in a region would be a significant enough feat to warrant revealing the rest of the POI's for that region? Something like that, or if it should be something even more significant, perhaps (fully) completing ALL of the vaults in the game would reward you with revealing the rest of the POI's in the game?
Also, a completion checklist would be really nice too. Doesn't even have to be in the game itself, the stats tabs on Ubisoft Connect would be a perfect spot for it as it already has some nice game stats.
What does everyone else think?
I would like both.
Region Checklist should be rewarded for passing a mile stone in each respective region
Or
Far Sight Enhancements could be added as another skill
- Far Sight Scope of Detection (radius) 8 Coins of Charon
- Far Sight Range of Detection (distance) 10 Coins of Charon
- Far Sight Reveal All (Unlocks Region Checklist*) 15 Coins of Charon
*The Region Checklist will only appear once the God's quests (of a region) have been completed, even if you previously unlocked the skill
It is really obtuse at this day and age devs still dont understand one simple rule:
IF the player has to go outside the game and look at a guide, you have failed in providing information required in the game to do X. This simply pertains to achievements on completing X. How can I finish if i don't know what i am missing.
Crysis was one of the best at doing this simply here is the level and how much of each challenge, collectable, etc is in that level, simple info doesn't break anything.
