this guy played Gryphon Blindfolded , thats just how easy the character is , i just wish the other characters could get a Mini rework so they can have generally more chances against the latest 6 heroes , in my opinion the other heroes are kinda outdated and left behind when it comes to play against the latest 6 heroes.
the latest 6 heroes just feel far more superior Gameplay wise and slightly too easy to play, but hey this is just my opinion
you realize this is like the 10th time someone has posted that video claiming it's proof of how easy Gryph is.

Did you know that another youtuber made a different video to show how stupid that Gryph blindfold vid is? Yeah, he did a blindfolded Shinobi video and won a bunch of duels. Is shinobi OP too?

Yes definitely! Shinobi is the official counter pick against gryphon do tho him being the most broken assassin in the game.

Also I played Nuxia with one hand tied behind my back which definitely proofs that she is also destroying the game right now.

Watch me next week where I win as Jorm using only voice commands that I scream in to my microphone to proof that jorm is also OP.

    *turns off joke mode*

Why do people even consider random gameplay from random clickbaiter against random guy from matchmaking as valid evidence?

Let alone against opponents playing that bad as they do in these videos.

I struggle against gryphon at times but thats more of hes a hard counter to my character rather than I dont know how to fight him.

Yea yea, we all seen the blindfolded videos of smart youtube tribes chiefs who think they are smart by grinding views on the impulsivity of their young public.

Any hones person would aknowledge that these video smell trickery from a mile away. The opponents are so bad that it hurt the eye. Or maybe not bad but definitely panic and do everything wrong against gryphon.

You can't talk about how good a character is by choosing to show only people who definitely don't know how to play against him.

Ubisoft, keep gryphon as it is, people just don't undertand that he was build post CCU, and then feel obviously less clunky that some older heroes. And keep your effort to bring older heroes to a state of balance with the game mechanics as they are today, like nobushi for example,

If I may just add something : the feats are not ok, not in this game state at least, where you keep nerfing or removing common feats like thick blood or revenge attacks.
Gryphon feats really feels likes those rpg mechanic in a heroic fantasy that allow you to win because of perks and talents, so if gryphon's magic healings are ok, I don't see why warden should get 1 HP bar when he enter revenge, why berseker could not feed his own revenge, or things like that

He was fun for me for a bit, got him to rep 8 pretty quick cause his knight armor is sick. However I am now done playing with him after seeing how broken he truly is. (Never realized how broke he is when your playing as him lmao). Imo, you can play with whatever hero you want, you cant stop that. I just let Gryphons have their fun while it lasts.

He is the hardest hero to fight next to conq of Bp imo. No matter what you do to counter him, there is always some other move he can do to counter back. The only real punish you get against Gryphon is a parry or a gb after a missed kick.

I have over thousands of hour of game time and still find Gryphon to be problematic. One opinion against the majority of the rest of the player base does not mean it makes sense. He is a fundamentally broken with way too many options to shut down anyone who they play against. You cannot dodge the kick because you will be guard broken, shoved, undodgeable lighted, or side heavied into oblivion.

The only hope you have against him is continue to dodge in hopes they throw a kick. Not to mention he has some of the highest damage output in the entire game. They added the ccu to lower health pools and attack damages to make fights last longer so we can have more fun. He literally is the opposite of that idea. They took the best moves that have existed in the game and threw them all onto one hero. Saying he is balanced because you can parry his lights is absurd. Yes you can dodge attack him, but...newsflash, not everyone plays with heroes with dodge attacks. Also, his dodge attack is the best in the game as it can be triggered so late into the dodge animation.

So its better to balance all the heroes that already exist around Gryphon is what your saying?

I honestly think undodgeable lights are extremely unhealthy and problematic for the game. They're very problematic when trying to dodge away from unblockables as a reflex guard hero and you end up getting hitstunned and stopped by lights that you can't block.

Gryphon's animations are bad, too, so naturally I can't parry or really block any of his lights all too well. I don't know. Then again, I haven't played a reflex guard heroe since Warmonger came out, so naturally I think reflex guard heroes are simply disadvantaged completely against these characters.
