    Vaults are too hard

Great game, but I am to clumsy for the vaults. They are not fun.

I was around 30 hours in before I could even attempt a level 2 vault, and some of those I am still unable to get the chests. Quite a few of them expect you to have a godly power to complete.
I can say that if you go away and come back later you will be able to complete them.
Some of the vaults are scary hard I know, and the arena type ramp up quickly were you have to fight several elites at once. One such vault I only won after my 14th attempt.

Because the game kindly put's you back on the checkpoint after death you can have as many tries as you like, pomegranates allowing.

Hm, I haven`t come across a vault that couldn`t be done without godly powers yet.
Except for one (close to Aphrodites palace) which wouldn`t let me in anyway and give a warning about missing powers.
I noticed a few open world puzzles though which require certain powers.

However, I did one or two vaults where I am pretty sure you can`t get to the chest without a godly power.
Imo those should have a warning as well, so players don`t waste time trying to get to a chest they can`t reach.

Arenas..., I was thinking ...you said you avoid the god main quests right?
Maybe that`s actually making it harder for you, since each god gives you three blessings. Some of them are very helpful.

Ah, so I may be nobbling myself? But I guess what I gain with one hand.....
I know there were a few that I used Godly powers to help complete them. That is something with the vaults sometimes there's more than one set way.

As a experiment I am going to complete one God mission and see how it goes.

UPDATE: I wish I hadn't done that. All the monsters have turned blue and there are more of them. Leaving the Godly alone missions was a good idea.

I have had to go back to a earlier saved game. Completing the God mission made the game that hard it's wasn't fun anymore. There were groups of purples everywhere which were unbeatable.
I have lost around 3 hours of game play.
I have learned one thing the balance of the game is way off if you play the game as it should be played. The concerns of those who are saying it becomes to difficult or founded on truth.
So I have 2 options. Never do the God missions or turn the game difficulty down to easy in the hope I find the right balance.

    Gee, sorry to hear that.
The 2nd life every 20 mins blessing didn`t help it?

I really don`t understand what`s going on. I did the main missions side-by-side with the other stuff, basicly I simply go for whatever is close by, maybe with a slight tencence towards getting charon`s coins for skills.
All in all I maybe died 2 - 4 times in 30+ hours (from fights, jumping to my demise in vaults is another topic...).
It`s true, when enemies upgrade there is usually a small spike, I had that when they changed to more blue and then when they changed to more purple.
But that was more like "ok, I am not overpowered anymore, time to be a bit more careful". Didn`t take long till I caught up with it.

I mostly use Ares`s Wrath and Phosphor`s clone, and heavy attacks till enemies are staggered, then light attacks to build up stamina again.
I never parry, always dodge. I try to get rid of Harpys asap, with the pull-to-enemy thingie.
Donno if any of that can be of help, just thought I`d mention it.

Anyway, if you are struggling switching to easy seems like a good idea, that`s what it`s there for.
Sounds more reasonable than missing out on the story imo. :/

Then you missed things, because there's quite a few vaults and chests that needs quadrouple jump and fully maxed stamina to be able to get.

I don't like the 1 health block respawn damage, some vaults are quite frustrating, like those with the

I've really enjoyed the vaults, completing them all fully so far.

    But some are really challenging.

I nearly gave up with the one bashing wooden balls across gaps.

Reminder there is armor that provides -60% damage from traps.
