New armor suggestions for Black Prior | Forums

Hello everyone!

With the introduction of Warmonger and Gryphon, the devs proved that they can make scale armor work. Good job on that one, btw.

So, I was wondering about other knights getting scale armor, especially Byzantine-style or Russian-style scale armor.
BP would be an perfect candidate for this, since he is already wielding a sword and a shield (like the soldiers on the pictures which I'm about to show you). This would greatly improve BP's fashion and would also shift away his reputation as an edge-lord. I (and I think others as well) would appreciate If armors like these would make it into the game, they would definitely make me play BP more (I have 10 reps with him).

Allow me, to share some pictures to showcase what I would like to see.

I hope the devs will consider making something like this.

I love your suggestion, since after Warlord I play Black Prior the most, and I also think that his/her armor pieces lakcs variety.

The existing armor variations are quite good, do not missunderstand me, but as I said they are nearly the same.

It would be gold, if Black Prior could look like an actual medieval warrior, not just as a headsman.

I really hope that the devs will see this and they will consider making armor like these for BP for the next Season, which will be a whole new year as well (Y5S1) so the devs will have the opportunity to introduce new armor-styles for every hero.

I'd also love if he got a sallet-like helmet.

Indeed. Sallet helmets are one of the coolest (and most practical) designs IMO. Interestingly if you watch the For Honor Story Trailer carefully, you can see a warden wearing one. So maybe the devs had ideas about putting the helmet in the game, although they wanted to give it to Warden. I wonder why they changed their minds about it, since there are no sallet helmets in the game (according to my knowledge).

Anyway, sallet helmets would be cool, no matter which knight receives it (although it doesn't match with scale armor).

Lawbringer has a variant that kind of resembles it. Wouldn't mind if lb, warden and bp got that kind of helmet.

Hey, less work for ubi and it looks badass haha.

It does indeed not fit with scaled armor, plate armour would be the go to for a sallet.

With Year 5 Season 1 upon us, I genuinely hope that the developers will consider making scale armor for BP, as his new armor style for the new year.

Black prior really needs new chest and shoulder gear. There has been "somewhat" of a variety in the helmets, but the chest and shoulders just are the same with miiiinoorrr differences lol
