Re Penguin:
I’m not sure what penguin did, but SPPD Replay is so incredibly valuable. Redlynx should be providing this same level of detail and visibility to the player base. Additionally, for years, people have asked for RL to release the actual damage, health, and ability stats for all cards instead of making players guess or use 3rd party websites.

At this point I'll assume the only ones who know what Penguin has been banned for are those who handed out the ban. Luckily our CM & Penguin have been in touch. Def agree with you that if those in command stick with their decision to ban LP they've to install a platform where players can be provided with the same level of detail and visibility to the playerbase.

I want to outline LP is an ethical guy who wouldn't dare using hacks/exploits to gain unfair advantages, he's a father of 3 with a public profile which can easily be tracked back to him. I can only imagine he wouldnt endanger himself, or his family, gaining an unfair advantage over a ****ty game like this risking prison penalty.

I got my fingers crossed things will smooth out from here, I truly hope the guys/galls @HQ realize what they're about to throw away like garbage.

15 games this morning, 13 were Incan DAR. This game is built on gambling addiction. The point is to keep you sufficiently frustrated to spend money on virtual cards. They will rebalance the card once they've determined there is no money to be made. These companies need to be regulated like casinos.

Oh most definitely. This is run by the Canadian Devil 100%. I really love the play mechanics and the social side is a lot of fun, but holy hell are they deep in the predatory, pay-to-win, gambling mechanics.

They sort of are since they have to display drop %.
As a society we do need policies to protect people from emotional exploit. Our nature is not on pair with social development.

Deranking solutions in play!?

I have stumbled across what I believe is one of these deranking solutions. It seems to be one of two things:
1. There is now a new moving floor. I’ve gained 100 ELO, for example, but half of that increase is added to the previous floor I cannot fall below. I don’t have exact numbers, I’m just trying to illustrate.
2. I may not be losing ELO because I keep losing to people who are 100-200 ELO above me.

I need to play more matches to confirm what’s going on. However right now I’m not very happy with this. If it is #1, then I’m stuck at a point where i constantly lose to L5 legs, and I assume I need to stay here- losing- until enough people climb higher. Is this the plan? It isn’t fun right now.

nope you get the reverse of what i get... i played 2 won 2 and am 50 off where i started.

I just did some more tests and it seems one win of an undetermined ELO increase becomes my new floor. Just lost to someone who was 150 ELO lower than me, and the prior game I lost to someone who was 150 higher, and my ELO hasn’t moved. I’ve won I think 5 of the last 20 games and as far as I can tell these wins have incrementally increased my ELO floor and it won’t drop. I was not and was never a deranker and I play so many games to 3+ minutes. Squeaking out a 1 phone win to have my new floor locked is really disheartening. It’s not like I win by 3 phones every game. This makes me want to stop playing.

Feedback:
I really wish they would have fixed the DAR problem before messing with the ELO. Part of the perceived “deranking” problem is the energy superiority of DAR decks, which was squished previously competitive decks downward. Now I’m stuck playing Incan/Dar in ever match because that’s what’s prevalent in the 7.5k+ range.

Getting the same here. If this was the actual intention then this is a completely garbage solution. To fix everyone in a place where they are no longer able to win matches is a great way to make everyone quit the game. Is that actually their intention so they can shut it down without too much fuss?

lets see how it works, if its true, then its a good thing, simple really.. people should be where they should be, not 700 lower because of one duff event.
cant wait to feast on the ELO of dead incan/DAR decks when dar is nerfed
