Since the recent re-naming of the launcher from uPlay to Connect, I've been unable to login and view my Wildlands stats on ghostreconnetwork.ubi.com. When I login on the site, it talks to the uPlay launcher, asks me if I've got the right character, then goes back to displaying a login button on the stats website.
Has this simply been abandoned like the rest of the game, or is there something broken on my end? I've tried multiple browsers and operating systems, with and without security add-ons like noscript, and nothing works.
Same here. Tried with Opera, Vivaldi and Firefox. Firefox at least attempted to load the profile, but returned to login screen on final step. Doesn't work with VPN enabled either.
Hey there guys!
Thanks for reporting this. If you haven't already, I would recommend ensuring you have tried all these browser troubleshooting steps (such as clearing out your cache/cookies).
If the issue persists after trying these steps, would you be able to provide a video that shows what happens when you try to login to the stats website? We can then pass this onto the team for further investigation. Thanks!
The issue isn't cache / cookies, but just for you I cleared them anyway. <3
In a shocking development, the cause wasn't cache / cookies.
Go to the stats site:
Click the login button and this pops up (the Ubisoft launcher is running):
Immediately see this:
Here's what happens if you click on the profile tab (or the task force tab for that matter):
If you click on view profile within the game, you're presented with this, but with the unique identifier string attached to the URL that used to automatically log you in:
Tried on Windows 10 and Kubuntu 20.04, using the latest versions of Firefox, Vivaldi, Brave and Falkon. Tried with and without any browser add-ons installed. Tried incognito mode.
As mentioned in the OP, this happened when you changed the launcher name from UPlay to Connect, so I think we can safely establish that this is broken on your side and your QA people didn't check that the site would continue to work.
Tried all of the troubleshooting steps, including accessing GRN through a mobile device (Huawei P9 lite). Same result as before - instant return to login screen.
As OP already stated, it worked fine before migration to Connect. GRN wasn't just stats either. It was the only interface for task force management, among other things. Please fix this.
