They will not fix the issue as stated here if you read between the lines : https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...box+controller

Thank you for making the original poster aware of the alternative thread, however in future please take care not to necro old threads
It is correct that the Series X / S controllers are not officially supported in-game however it may be possible to use Steam's Xbox Configuration Support Settings as a workaround.
You can access this by going to Steam > Settings > Controllers > General Controller Settings
Thank you

As advised above Series X/S controllers are not officially supported. Apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result.
Hi,
I didn't see your answer before today. I was looking around the forum since latest controller update to see if it had any impact on the compatibility, but no controller is still messed up.
My intention was not to necro old thread I just want to state the problem is alive since the launch of the controller.
This game is renew for an other yeah, will it possible to include compatibility ? I don't think it's much of an effort for a Microsoft controller and to be honest I don't think new player will buy old controllers just for The Crew 2.
Also to reply to your solution, unfortunately I don't use Steam to play the game, I bought and launch it through your Ubiconnect software...
So almost a year to play the game with a 60€ wireless controller; it's a nice support for N°1 game controller brand
Thanks for following up on this with your feedback, H3llioN21 - that's most helpful!
