Oh I'm fine with Gryphon how he is, but the devs already seem set on nerfing the kick so I'd like to try minimizing the nerf as to not make Gryphon useless.

Dude, I do far better with about 5 or 6 other heroes than I do with Gryphon. Stop crying about how you can't figure out how to fight him.

You can definitely punish Valk’s sweep

“The bash might be unreactable, but it awards a GB regardless of your timing unlike Valk's sweep where you can't punish it with a GB.”

Although it is difficult to react to Valk’s sweep, it is much easier to dodge and GB her after the sweep than it is to parry Gryphon’s top-heavy after his kick.

His bash is a different story, it is much easier to dodge the bash but I believe that the main complaint with people is that his kick and top-heavy leaves them completely defenseless. Valk sweep is nothing compared to this. The window to parry his top heavy after the kick is essentially non-existent. I find myself more excited to fight a Warmonger than I do a Gryphon.

There is no option to parry the top heavy after the kick. Gryphon's kick guarantees the heavy followup. Where have you been?

Also, why you reviving a thread from December 2020? Now it will be closed by a forum mod.
