i bought gryphon today and it was working fine but after 7 matches it doesn't let me play the character anymore and its telling me to buy it again? i need some help because i used real money on it

I am not saying this with hate or anything, just my opinion so please don't take it as a hate post or something like that. I had a friend that had the same problem, bought from steam and he couldn't play it. He requested a refund and they accepted it, after that he just bought from Ubisofts own store and everything was a ok. The problem that I had with refunding was that I already had a decent amount of game time with the dlc so it was not possible for me to get a refund. The majority is like me, have played so much that they cannot ask for a refund. We are just losing game time with the hero. If we knew it would be like this, we would either use the Ubisoft store or simply just wouldn't pre-purchased it.
