Playing on series x and got the most recent patch that ostensibly fixes the save issue. Played two hours and it did not save my progress. So in addition to waiting for over a month since launch, the tweet about this patch fixing the save is lie. Just add a manual save, it shouldn't be that difficult.

If you've confirmed that you've downloaded TU 2.4 (shows as 2.5.0 on the Series X), would you be able to describe what the save game issue looks like from your end a bit more?
The Xbox Series X issues were often described that the game would stop saving after a period of time, with issues like their Store tab "hanging" when trying to load images, and trying to quit to the menu would consistently fail. Does that line up with what you all are experiencing?
If not, could you tell me what your experience with the issue has been?
let me describe my issue by following steps:
1: Start a minor mission
2: the character A dead and changed to character B
3: Start to play character B
4: Finished mission
5: Collect the "FILES" and "Tech Upgrade" in the map for a few hours.
6: Press "Option" and go back to menu
7: The button of "Continue" was disabled and the "New game" button is enable.
8: Go back to XBOX menu and end the watchdog game.
9: The Game save RESET to step #3
