Quote from 2018, couple weeks before tc2 launch.
"510s,
With just a few weeks to go until the gates of Motornation open to players worldwide, we’re getting increasingly excited for The Crew® 2’s release.
All our teams are hard at work on the game, and our efforts are fully concentrated on The Crew® 2 to prepare for a fantastic launch and everything we have planned thereafter.
We would like to reassure all our players that despite this focus, we have no plans to shut down the The Crew® servers any time soon. We will continue running occasional maintenances to ensure optimal performance, and our Support teams will remain available for any issues you may encounter.
With this in mind, after three years of continuous support we have taken the decision to make the already temporary halt on patches in The Crew®, permanent. Moving forward, no new content will therefore be added to The Crew® and its expansions The Crew® Wild Run and The Crew® Calling All Units.
Thank you all for your understanding and continued passion for The Crew®. We’ll see you on the road!
The Crew Team"

Hello again everyone!
Thank you very much for the video, it was very conclusive and it certainly looks to be a bug to me. Even if the destination is correct (I don't believe it is), the route should be better suited near the end.
Although The Crew has received the last patch, it's still important for us to report the issues that are raised with us. Hopefully our team will be able to review them, and something can be done.
I will raise this now. All the best!
It only looks like a bug because the player uses a C spec car, while the finish line is on a dirt road... And since the GPS doesn't have the parameter to route road properly for any other spec than dirt spec when it comes to dirt driving, the GPS instead opts for the shortest route possible when the destination ends up being off-road rather than on asphalt, and it won't care if there's a fence or trees or a very steep climb to drive through and its been like that since the game's launch iirc.
+ If he approached the dirt road from the Mount Rushmore and not the highway, the GPS would have routed properly to take the dirt road to get up the mountain, and not driving off-road between trees and what not, because it would have been a shorter route.
I appreciate your insight, you make some really good points and this may not be a bug after all.Originally Posted by S5yn3T Go to original post
We reported it to the team so if there is ever a change, we'll make players aware![]()
In the meantime, i get a 1 point warning for this post, flagged as trolling/spammingOriginally Posted by Ubi-Raziel Go to original post![]()
