    Please fix this calling all units issue. Please, for the love of god, fix it.

    Hello.

    I have this massive issue with the The Crew : Calling all units activity where you run from point a to point b with ennemy AI and ennemy player running after you.

    I do not know the name of that activity in english, so please excuse me.

    When you pick up an "asphalt" box (so one that shoudn't be off-raod) you have a chance for the run to finish on a dirt road despite not being an off-road box.

    This makes it so that player ennemies can teleport behind you on offroad terrain (trying to get to the end), and but because your speed is limited ( 100 km/h for C class cars and about 130 with P class cars) they will arrest you no matter what you do and you loose.

    This is completely unfair and needs fixing. Please.

    In order to see if this has been investigated before, are you able to provide a video or link us to a video of this activity demonstrating what happens please?
    We can then check if we have evidence of this mission being bugged on record. Are you able to upload a clip to a video hosting website such as sites like Imgur or Youtube, then send us a link to view it please?

    It's not that one particular mission is bugged, there are a few of them that start on asphalt and then end up either on offroad bridge of Black Hills, or at the top of that black mountain near mexico border, or at the top of the mountain in East Coast. There's prob a few more that i'm missing (since i rarely do crate activities), but either way it's an oversight by devs when they released the dlc a few years ago, placing finishes where they shouldn't be to begin with.

    And it doesn't help when near the end of the run a player joins in on his police car and catches you while you try to crawl onto one of the mountains driving a P or C spec car, since all it takes for a player police to catch you, is to be in 30 meters or less range no matter the speed (yes you heard it right, all they have to do is to stay in that range to bust you, while AI police cannot catch you if you drive faster than 90 km/h)
    On top of that a player police can comfortably change his car at any time, while you just stuck there with the car you chose to do the crate run on.

    Hey! I appreciate you coming back to us with a comprehensive response.

    I have tried searching for this issue internally however I've now been able to find anything. Would a video at all be possible, so we can review it and raise it to our team?

    As the last update for The Crew was released a long time ago I'm sorry to say I cannot guarantee an update will be possible, however we always do our best to make sure every player is heard.

    If i could record a video i would, but my system is below spec to be able to record anything, while the crew is already using all resources available x)

    + It's already known that the game is development dead for a couple of years now, since all the focus is mainly on tc2... otherwise this game would had have some more of the common bugs fixed by now, like getting soft locked after the chase, or in view mode of your car in HQ while choosing two tone colors, or the interior over-bright on some cars (which also plagues some tc2 vehicles lmao, just can't fix that pesky HDR effect)
    or interior center view which on some cars is offset, or some cars having undrivable handling in hardcore aid... map quality itself having some major craters that should have been a smooth downhill, and the list just goes on.

    Would be just dope to get some quality of life improvements that tc2 got, that tc1 oh so needs, but it's not going to happen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    No problem S5yn3T, we understand where you are coming from too.

    We can never say for certain to a player that a game will be no longer be patched after its last game update, but if we are aware of any bugs with he game we can still report on them to the game team if they are not aware of them or we have no record of it, so in the case that the game does not have this issue resolved in a patch, at least we can make the team aware of it for any future sequels in case history repeats itself, with a particular issue or bug.

    Thank you for being an active member of The Crew community, we will do our best to listen to our players and report any further developments with bugs or new information provided by players up to the QA team and game team when we can, provided we have enough information. Thanks again friend.

    As my computer is able to record, i will do this task.

    Towards the 4min mark the "bug" happends: the run goes offroad and the autogps displays a dumb route, impossible to do with a C class car.

    Luckily I was able to navigate myself using the minmap, but if an ennemy player would have joined when i was offroad I would have automatically lost.

    I was driving on an Asphalt box.

    I beg you to please fix this bug.

    yep, basically what i described: it not being a bug, but a dev oversight for slapping finishes on a map willy nilly, without adding any description to the event itself on where the finish is.

    if they did try to fix it, they would have done so 4 years ago.
