I'm wondering what is taking so long from Ubisoft to release the PC requirements for FC6? Same thing happened on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, it was almost the release date when the requirements finally were released for that. Still for both games the pre-order also for PC has been available for months? When I do some googling, the search results just give a bunch of predicted/speculated pc requirements for FC6.
Anyway, I need some advice if anyone has ANY clue whether my current pc is capable enough for FC6 or not, so I possibly could make a decision on which platform of I better buy the game (I have Xbox one too). My PC specs:
i7-7700HQ
16 GB RAM
GTX 1060 6GB
512GB SSD (+ 2 TB HDD)
I'm pretty sure you understand why I want to make sure which platform is better for the pre order, just want to avoid the situation where I finally get the game downloaded on my pc, only to see when it's excessively lagging even on 1080p settings. My pc has a 4K screen, but already seen that it doesn't run many games smoothly with 4K/Ultra. FC5 ran fine with those, but AC Origins: Just about (the pc was quite..hot). AC Odyssey: Forget it
If any of the recent 2020 Ubisoft games (Hyper Scape, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, Immortals Fenyx Rising) are any indicator, you may run it on medium or high specs at 30 frames per second with GTX 1060 6GB. You're better off with Xbox One. Since Far Cry 6 is delayed, that gives you more time to upgrade to the Xbox Series X if you are at a budget constraint with PCs.
Maybe it's best to continue into this thread.. So, my computer mentioned in my original message, is kind of broken again. It has already been repaired three times under warranty, and the fault, broken screen hinge, is back from the first repair (same hinge broken again). In the meantime, while waiting for response from seller and computer manufacturer, I have looked at few choices for new computer. So, in order to play FC6 with the new laptop, which one of these would you recommend (and, which one of these would you prefer anyway)?
Choice 1:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor 3,2 GHz 8-core
16 GB RAM, 3200 MHz
1 TB SSD
RTX 3060 6 GB
Choice 2:
i7-10750H 2,6 GHz 6-core
32 GB RAM, 2933 MHz
1 TB SSD
RTX 2070 8 GB
Both these are in different stores but currently have the same price. Otherwise Choice 2 feels a little more tempting, as it has double RAM (choice 2 ram is slightly slower type than in choice 1 though) and video card has 2 GB more of its own memory. But processor is 0,6 Ghz slower and has less cores? Anyway, if somebody, more than 1 users can have their say, please do so.
But they both have RTX? I'm just a bit confused about this userbenchmark site test:Originally Posted by KrayZee_ Go to original post

I thought RTX 30s are better, but that link doesn't seem to say so at least for these 2? Anyway. Still choice1?
Yes well.. Now I spotted choice 3, sort of. It has same processor as in choice 1 but has RTX 3070 8GB and also 1TB of SSD. Just its screen is "worse" than in choice 1 which was a WQHD, this "choice 3" has just a Full HD screen. But it's 100 euros cheaper than choice 1.. Just won't be in stock in the store before June. We are still waiting for official FC6 pc requirements but I guess processor from my choice 1 and RTX 3070 8 GB should be absolutely enough for good gameplay experience in FC6.
Its 2021 and far cry 6 is scheduled to launch this fall. Currently there are great laptops available at under $1000 with an RTX 3050 GPU, which is the best budget mobile graphics card with ray tracing for the next 2 to 3 years. Here are the best RTX 3060 laptops available currently -
Lenovo Legion 5i – Best RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop
Dell XPS 15 – Best Premium RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop
MSI GF65 Gaming Laptop – Best Slim RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop
Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop – Best cheap RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop
ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop – Best cooling RTX 3050 Ti Gaming Laptop
I would recommend these specs -
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 3,2 GHz 8-core processor
16 GB RAM, 2400 MHz
1 TB SSD
RTX 3050/ RTX 3050 Ti graphics card
