Dear Ubisoft, thank you for another episode in Division 2! Though I am also critical, after reading a lot of negativity on this forum lately, I want to express my gratitude.
Sometimes it seems like the life's of some people here depend
almost solely on this game. My advice to them is to get a life next to this game, that will put this game in the right perspective, namely: it's just a game! :-)
I agree, although I haven't yet played it. There is no reason to believe it won't be worth playing.
That said, I am as vocal as anyone else about the bugs and glitches. I am by no means a fanboi -- although I am sure that I fall closer to that end of the spectrum than "hater".
I just think it would be a shame -- and not good for the game or the community -- to not give positive feedback. Because if I am in the shoes of the executive that makes the decisions on this game, and all I see are the hate posts, well, the business decision would be very easy: "wind it down and let it die".
Not trying to be a negative Nancy here, but people posting what's not working in the game is absolutely fair. I don't see your point with be positive or the game dies, Make a good game and people will play it. For honor is a perfect example and that game went through a player boycot to get stuff fixed. I doubt any executives care about anything other than the numbers.
I'm personally not the biggest fan of the seasonal content. The new gear is always welcome, but i'll go out on a limb and speak for others here and say the manhunt isn't a lot of fun to do.
That being said. Some people can get a little intense about the way they communicate![]()
As a manager, I found my teams morale improved when good work was appreciated, whether by me or others. Developers are human just like us.Originally Posted by SoulBrotherNr3 Go to original post
Just as it's fair to critique something you don't like, it's fair to praise something you do.
I'll absolutely be willing to heap praise on them if they actually give us content and game modes like we ask for. These seasons of recycled old content with a timer on it doesnt cut it. Warlords type content twice yearly with a raid attached to each DLC, as well as new and creative global events would do it. Yes I will gladly pay $30 each time for it and be appreciative and complimentary of it, assuming it all functions properly. However I won't falsely compliment something I find pointless, repetitive and stale. We expected more from this game based on the mistakes of Division 1. Now we yearn for Division 1 because the mistakes of Division2 are worse. I want to be able to praise this team, but they rarely listen to what the community wants and deliver on it.Originally Posted by dagrommit Go to original post
LOL they are killing the game and players think it is good ????. The game is dead . sinking in to a great black hole it can not climb out of... another update and more bugs .. the game difficulty depends on bugs ... Yes it is just a game but a game that cost money and they want more money for more bugs , seasons lol what a joke it has been ,Originally Posted by slowscow Go to original post

Straight up being toxic, however, that solves nothing and is likely to be ignored.
*sigh* nobody asked you to heap praise on them. The OP thinks this season was well done, and wanted to show appreciation for that. It's entirely possible for someone to agree, while also disagreeing with other aspects.Originally Posted by chicagolongball Go to original post
