The afterthought and shortcomings on the enemy ai and what they need to do is brutal but if you are waiting for them to fix it, there is a bigger issue at stake. The best you can hope for is for them to tell you that there will be and On/Off button on the next update so you can just roam around the island w/o being bothered by the enemy ai

I know, I know, that will not happen but it goes to show what they do when we tell them that something does not work, their immediate response and "FIX" is to add a button to disable it.
