Hi guys,
Completely new to using forums so my apologies if this is in the wrong place but I'm having major issues with Immortals Fenyx Rising.
My game crashes every so often (between 30 mins to three hours) and there's no clear indication as to why. My Switch Lite will spit out the 2002-2552 error code (which not even the laggiest parts of Hyrule Warriors 2 will do) and throw me back to the home screen but I've tried everything to resolve this, short of just giving up. As suggested on Twitter and the Nintendo website, I've restarted, reupdated the game, checked for corrupted data, etc etc but to no avail.
To save me from rambling too much, does anyone else have these issues? Any ideas on how to resolve them? I only got the console in April so I doubt it's that, plus like I've said, no other games have caused issues quite like this one. It's so much fun and I hope to get back into playing it eventually but it's a tad annoying when you're mid-battle and the game kicks you out... Thanks for reading!
amberplaysagame: Thanks for that information, amberplaysagame! I'm sorry that you've been having these crash issues, but I'd be more than happy to work with you to resolve this or get it reported to our team! To start, I know you stated you've tried some troubleshooting steps on your own, and that's honestly a great way to get started with the error code ( 2002-2552 ) you've been receiving! However, since I'm not completely sure what steps you've reviewed, I'd like to suggest completing the Nintendo Switch troubleshooting steps we have here! If you can try those for me, and report back with if the issue is still happening, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you so much for the response. In regards to the advice above, I've tried all of it except for trying on another device as none of my friends own a Switch. Could it be a faulty cartridge?Originally Posted by UbiDork Go to original post
amberplaysagame: Thanks for sharing that, amberplaysagame! I've gone ahead and reached out to our game development team about this to have this investigated, but in the meantime, if you're able to let me know the next time you play a more concrete "crash time table" for me to share or if you start to notice any trends ( like certain missions or actions leading to the crash ). Also, if you are in a position to try another game cartridge, please do! Let me know if the issue continues as well!
