🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

    Alright.

Since we really don't know what's coming after Season 4 and they haven't officially announced that will be the end of content, BUT, let's say that Season 4 is the end and we get on final DLC.

I'd for one pay top dollar for the original New York map and dark zone [with Underground and Last Stand] in a summer setting with a continued story [leading up to Division 3 if there is going to be one].

I'd be a happy camping sum ***** if this was a final DLC for Division 2.

Otherwise very much hopping to see the game continue after Season 4.

If you wish to play UG, last stand and a bigger dz with full of hackers, i suggest you play The Division.

I wonder how much compatibility there is between the engines of Div1 and Div2. Like....could they use map resources of the original New York map to make it easier to transfer open world and missions from one to the other?

The engine is the same... it's snowdrop. If only map and missions was the only problems.. that'd be great... :/

If the lion's share of the building and environmental design is already done, it should take much less work to transfer, I would think. But I'm not a programmer, so maybe there are additional barriers.

I mean, FFS they still haven't added extra difficulty settings to classified missions, which seems like free easy content to add to the value of the year 1 pass.

Or legendary versions of non-strongholds, which also seems like a relatively cheap/quick addition to the game.

I'd rather just pay for the DLC in D2 honestly.
