Does the combined arms talent effect the deflector shield?

Was trying out a deflector shield build using a back pack with combined arms and chest with spark. Apparently spark doesn't proc with the deflector shield(Why?) and even though combined arms procs I'm wondering if the deflector shield is getting any benefit from it. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Oh and btw, WTF doesn't the deflector shield proc spark?

The Deflector Shield is the red headed step child of the skill family, I don't think any of the skill damage talents work with it

The fact that it still doesn't work with Spark 🤬

It SHOULD work with In-Synch too. But who knows with Deflector. It's such a garbage skill.

I'd use the deflector shield in a heart beat if the deflected bullets maintained their damage numbers. I'd love to send those 20 trillion damage points back at the NPCs. lol

Hell, I'd settle for it just stopping bullets like the crusader. The reflected damage would be pure bonus.

There was a build by ...Nothingbutskillz(?) where he was using deflector with stacked Protection from Elites. Because it's the elite that usually shoot for your head or legs when using deflector. The deflector wrecks reds/purples. Protection from Elites nerfs yellows.

It was an interesting idea, although I think you're probably better off just using a bulwark.
