    Helicopter Patrols

I had a go at breakpoint last night for the first time in a while and noticed the additional settings, turning off the drones was a good one, but I have to admit I am a bit disappointed with the route they took with the helicopter and Azreal drones. Rather than turning them off completely It would have been better to see their patrol patterns adjusted so instead of just flying directly over you every few minutes they would patrol the provinces searching for you (Like Wildlands), It just seems to me to be really lazy effort to sort out the problem everyone was complaining about by just adding an on and off switch rather than addressing the actual cause of everyone's complaints i.e. helicopter and azreals flying directly over you every few minutes. I guess the reason for this is that it is allot easier to add an off and on switch rather than adjusting the AI. Its such a shame as it seems if they had taken a bit more care/effort and time with the game it would have not been such a failure, I still cant get my head around why they deviated so much from wiildlands rather than using wildlands as a base to build a better game.

Additionally I notice the AI has still not improved one of my AI squad mates was for some reason laying on the road, and when an enemy vehicle came past it stopped and drove around him, but the Sentinel Soldiers did not engage just drove off as if he was not there, it appears enemy NPC's cannot see your AI squad mates, Also noticed Sentianal and Outcast's having a shoot out about five feet apart and stood still they only hit each other occasionally and the fire fight lasted about 5 minutes, Like I said earlier very lazy implementation of features and functions which has not helped the game at all. I also felt like there was still nothing to do and ended up turning off the game after about thirty minutes.

I don't normally like to moan like this but I have not played Breakpoint for a while and turning it back on again last night just really reminded me how much of a disappointed the game was considering what it "could have" been.

Hopefully Ubisoft have learned their lesson on this and if they do ever produce another Ghost Recon game it will be a proper Tactical Military Spec Ops Shooter, that keeps to the roots of the Tom Clancy Name, who knows what he would be thinking if he was still around to see what his name has been associated with, with regards to Breakpoint, I imagine he would be pretty disappointed.

AI teammates need to have at least 2 more orders.

    1. Watch my back: I died few times because someone is flanking me and AI teammates just stood next to them watching me die.

    2. Hold and shoot: I don't know why when give them order to shoot they just start running towards the enemy like maniacs. Very stupid when there is drones/turrets/snipers and they just die.

Squad mates need a little tweaking for sure, it ruins the vibe when your entire team waltzes right past a wolf patrol like nothings wrong. Im still pretty new to the GR series so i don’t have much room to talk. Have a whole story on the “Breakpoint - Not a GR Game“ thread if your remotely interested.

Ya Ai being blind to teammates makes things a lot simpler.

Otherwise, you would need some crazy advanced Ai that needs to calculate hiding spots and adjust non-stop based on enemy positions.
In a cinematic style game - with limited areas of movement that isn't too hard, in an open world situation it gets nuts with the number of possibilities.

Though they could probably improve it a little so the Ai at least attempts to hide behind cover instead of sitting around in the open.
