How do u go about making to new build

I'm 1 that like to try a find the best build with each exotic, right now I'm trying the ridgeway pride, I usually try to build around the core, but I'm thinking I'll use a 4-1-1 build with technician, 60 percent chc, status effects, and chd, with 2 piece hunter and a smg with sadist, a shield and artificer hive, and creeping death. Or I could use future perfection.

Best use of ridgeway is to activate bonus that require stats effect such as wicked or the EP backpack that is going to get nerfed so ridgeway is in a bad spot, trying to rely it for the heal is not really a great idea unless you are running a blue tank build and even then is better to just focus on buffing shield instead of the bleed heal. Sadist is indeed a must have and creeping death does work to proc multiple bleed for a fast heal, buti htink the cooldown might be a bit too cluinky

    Research and testing.

Check youtube for existing builds. Get ideas from that build. Swap items to test if other things work. Kinetic momentum vs glass canon for example.

Lots of trying the build in different missions amd difficulties. For example: Hunter's Fury with Chatterbox works really good on spees runs with Hard or Challenging missions, but sucks on heroic and Legendary.

4/1/1 aligns nicely with: Ceska, Golan, Firm Handshake + (2) Wyvern [one with Skill core, other rolled WD]...

Survivalist Spec, Sadist SMG main? Use Bleed Skills [Hive & Seeker?] to proc bleed, so when you get close the healing is already going?

Most any shield build is fun on challengeing solo, heroic an legendary r a bit boring, in a group it might be fun for u but a pain for others cause their always blocking shots and if they run out, when they go down, usually their in the open, iv been kicked from so many groups for using shields especially legendary. I think ridgeway would definitely work best with a sheid, given that the talent is focused on healing, most poeple focus on the bleed damage. I have perfectly wicked right now, I'm still look for a piece to try creeping death because it would make receiving max healing much easier, I think the healing would work better than extra damage, seeing as u would just need healing every 30 seconds or so, the artificer hive will keep ur shield up, if u have enough skill tier, this Is am using the mop with future perfection as my secondary weapon, my thought of what the devs were thinking was ridgeway would be a way to heal with a skill build, like clutch and bloodsucker do for tank and dps builds.

In theory different builds could be fun. When getting the backfire exotic, i tried to adjust my build to the bleeding perk and to implement mods regarding this.

But here comes the bummer: try to 'craft' a single bleed prevention mod. After about 80 tries wasting materials and time i did not get SINGLE MOD with this attribute. As always: the dev team did everything to destroy fun in this game due to their utterly incompetence regarding loot, crafting and long term motivation. I quit trying to get the items to have a backfire build. Cause the game has no mechanics to let you reach your build concepts.

This is why I've always kept three of every mod

I upgrade them as they drop while playing. At this point I think my lowest HzP variant is 8.9%.

This is what I did too, however I have never found hp or br to be of any use, I have a dps build with the backfire and technician with a healing drone, this is enough to counter the bleed, but I tested the backfire an it took a little over a clip an a half, to killed a named target, the stats r 134.3k damage, 60 chc, and 91.8chd. The sig mpx killed 1 in about 10 less bullets, the stats r 134.6k, the talent was sadist, the talent wasnt proced, 60 chc, 86.8 chd. The cold relations 1 clip, the stats r 152.2k, 59.8 chc, 86.6 chd. The sig mpx is better than the backfire, probably better than cold relations with the right talent. U would think 150 rpm would make a difference but it didn't really because the cold relations took about 30 to 40 less bullets, so it killed it just as fast. So my advice to players would be the backfire is just to look good on the wall.

The Backfire was a gift to DZ players who run max HzP. It allows them to get some of their CD back without having to sacrifice their protection.

RPM does make a difference, if you hold DMG/Mag steady

PP-19s hit harder per bullet. The hard part about figuring out the true DPS of Exotics, is determining the proc percentage.

Kinda makes u wander what ubi is thinking, cause I got mine from from a drop from legendary hunters, I been trying to get a harmony for months, come to find it dz exclusive, but is only a good gun for pve. I know rpm makes a difference, I'm saying on those guns 700rpm killed the targets at 5, 10, 15, and 20 meters just as fast as 850rpm using 30 to 40 less bullets, at 20 yards and ak would probably killed faster with 600rpm than a smg with 850rpm. Like a vector is probably 1 of the best for chasing enemies, even though it doesn't do alot of damage more bullets r likely to hit a fast moving target. When I get all the gear I want for my ridgeway build I'm gonna try a vector, right now I'm using a god rolled banshee, I have a hunter mask and kneepads, ridgeway, forge for the shield health, I wonder if incoming repairs will boost my heal from bleeding edge, the firm handshake, and I'm trying to get to sc backpack with creeping death, because with out that talent to get a substantial amount of heal would be fairly hard. The stats with the banshee r 112.1k 60chc, 70.1chd, 50headshot, my weapon dmg can go up a few more percent, chd can go up 64 percent, it looks like it could be a great build, but u really can't tell until u build and use it.
