    Casual MMR - Matchmaking

    Hi guys.

a short time ago i recognized the first time the r6tracker is showing us our casual MMR besides our "normal" ranked mmr.

And this explained a lot to me. Im a soloqueuing high silver/low gold player in ranked, but in casual i get only matched with plats, high plats or diamonds (sometimes even champions) most of the time. So casual is nearly unplayable for me. And now the tracker showed me why: In this season im at gold III with close to 2800 MMR in ranked at the moment, but above 4000 MMR around Plat 2 and Plat 1 in casual. And i dont know really why.

Yeah, might be cool having such a high elo, but tbh for me its destroying my game experience. 9/10 rounds are wether completely unbalanced or just not enjoyable, because youre getting literally destroyed by the high ranked/skilled players in the other team. This brings me into a circle, because why should i play matches, the tracker is telling me, theres 0% (!) chance to win this? - and most of the time hes absolutely right, when the opponent team isnt doing bs. So im leaving matches like these right from the beginning, hoping to find at least one balanced match somewhere. Meanwhile im already happy my team has at least a chance of 5%-10% to win the match.

Ubi, you would do me a really big favour to reset the casual mmr after a while, to make it possible to get also in casual to a level, where you really belong. Maybe not every season like in ranked, but maybe once or two times in a year. This is really a gamebreaker for me atm, especially because i dont wanna play ranked all the time. And even losing match after match doesnt really change that much for me, because of the fact, ive already played so many matches.

I play exclusively casual since I started the game (more than a year ago), and I can confirm that after a while, matchmaking in casual ends up being a coin flip.Too many 3-0 or 0-3 and very few actually enjoyable games that make it a fair and enjoyable challenge. My matches have either people that are on casual just to act goofy and troll, or people in teams warming up for their plat ranked game.
Speaking of teams, I also soloque, and I often get matched againsted teams that are way too organized with advanced strats and everything. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe ubi should adopt the "only match teams against other teams" or provide a soloque playlist.
I didn't have many problems with matchmaking for more than nine months of almost everyday playing casual. But it makes sense that after a while you reach a point of stagnation in your MMR, so it only makes sense for it to be resetted every so often.

The worst part is that despite all the negative feedback Casual MMR has gotten over the years, Ubisoft has been utterly silent on the issue. I have very little hope that it will be fixed at this point, which is a ******* shame because this used to be my favourite game ever, and for my time and money invested in the game I've only been screwed over.
