Ah, yet another claim without evidence. Exactly which responses would you like me to look at? The explanations of how things actually work? Or the jokey comments? Or do you consider linking to what the devs actually said an attack?Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
You do realize it's possible to agree with some things, but disagree with others right? It's not a black and white world.Yet you want to post your complaints and be supported for being a rebel.
Not agreeing that the RNG is so bad players literally can't progress isn't the same thing as "constantly defending the RNG".Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
And reasonably asking for proof of a claim while simultaneously being willing to meet halfway is DEFINITELY not "attacking" him.
:/
It is either this:

I prefer the latter but let you guys pick. Also, as mckrackin has pointed out, there is an ignore function available, you can find it by clicking on a user -->View profile --> Add to ignore list.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
So I'm not the only one who noticed that problem !Originally Posted by Mikken. Go to original post
My last 6 triple God rolls (yes I counted them) where ALL rainbow loot !!! that ridiculous ! since 2weeks I even noticed that npc who drop 2 loot items are often rainbow loot as well...
Rainbow loot Festival !!
when it's not rainbow loot it's with 2 colors 90% of the time... if the RNG God is on your side you'll have crap stats anyway but be happy the optimization station is coming.. it'll up to you to play and farms hours for ingredient to fix what they can't.
What do you mean? They can fix it, they just don't want to.
The whole genre is predicated on drip feeding Jackpot loot - this isn't a bug or incompetence, this is a calibrated decision that all Looter Devs have pretty much standardized on. It's been shown that people leave shortly after reaching their 'precious', unless you can show them a new 'precious' to chase [for a certain subset of gamers], why would they hasten that by giving it to you in 10 hours instead of 100+?
You want a power fantasy? play Hard and don't worry about the missing 1-2%. You want to min/max to the extreme? Prepare to grind, just like every other Looter ever made.
My advice, just find what makes it fun for you - if you can't, find another game/hobby. Loot is basically gambling, and you're asking the Devs to handout Jackpots hand over fist - it's like complaining the Casino doesn't allow their slot machines to Jackpot often enough.
Just look at my video. Everything hovers at 50% rolls except one piece. That one piece has three god rolls. A red, a blue and a yellow.Originally Posted by raiders9595 Go to original post
BUT... it's illegal for a casino to influence the slot machine.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
I get your 10 hour vs 100 hour argument. I really do. I'm at 300 hours and have never got a jackpot drop. Never. Not one. I only get improvements from caches and locked boxes.
That's not true, they could change the algorithm to increase the likelihood of a Jackpot - the electronic ones are just code, like the RNG in a video game. I mean, maybe technically the Slot Machine manufacturer has to change it, but it's the same idea. They're trying to optimize time/jackpot, making an assumption on how many people they can pull in for how many hours trying, based on the frequency of the reward they offer.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
You've never gotten a full gRoll piece of Loot period, or never gotten one you wanted? That also depends on difficulty. Legendary could be 40hrs, Heroic 80hrs, Challenging 160hrs and Hard 320hrs [random numbers, I can't find the actual drop percentage numbers]... That said, I don't think I got my first full gRoll piece until I started doing Heroic regularly. I've gotten, at most, three from Hard and a handful from Challenging. A majority have dropped from Legendary or Heroic [and some of those from group members].
I also wish they were more generous, improved targeting options, and changed certain weightings, but I understand why they set it the way they do. It pissed me off to the point of nearly quitting in 1.0, but the Stat Library & changes in weighting earlier this year fixed it enough to keep me around. Now that my Stash is overflowing with 90+ gear, I honestly don't care about loot all that much anymore. Weird that.
Really? That's interesting. I played for a long time on normal, before I realized I could change the global settings, maybe 8 of the 34 days played total. I got a good bit of god-rolled gear. I wasn't looking for it, it just happened. I guess from other activities that ratchet up the difficulty.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
