Man, I like playing the events but these time trial missions are just brutal to find good players sometimes. I am sitting at 7/10 for Manning and 9/10 for the Bunker. Does anyone here have trouble finding good players? I join games but man, the last few days searching and finding good players was just not there. Lot's of low level players and others with no sense of urgency to complete it in the allotted time. I know the spawns in the Bunker and run up but yet no one follows me and backs me up. Thank god I only need 4 points to complete it. I'll just run a solo run on DCD and get them points that way tomorrow.
I think I actually ran solo once for these trials the last trial event we had and beat the par time but I can't remember which mission it was for. Not going to lie man, never really thought on friending some of the good players I have encountered. Perhaps I will try Manning tonight solo and the bunker as well. Just venting a little with the quality of players that's all.Originally Posted by LateNiteDelight Go to original post
Yep, MM is random so anything can happen and the end result can be extremely different. One thing you can do when MM is to wait until someone joins your game (not gonna lie, it can take a while) and stop match making right away as soon as he's in your party. It's okay if you get 2 players at once but keep in mind that duo is the fastest way you can run any mission, with maybe a few exceptions where trio is slightly faster. So wether your teammate is able or not, you should get better result in a group of 2 or 3 and the best way to do that is either to ask from your friendlist or discord or whatever or to control the MM by having palyers join your party.Originally Posted by T0NY.HAYABUSA Go to original post
If you're on PC and wanna team up for some duo runs you can add me, I'm always looking to do some speedrunning and I have good knowledge of Manning and Bunker, if not, good luck, Manning is the most challenging one and Bunker should definitely be easier to handle in a duo. My uplay tag: LightKola
100% agree. I joined two games and even said stop matchmaking since we have three people. Of course they don't and we get a fourth, low level player. No way would be complete it in time. Thanks man but I am on Xbox.Originally Posted by LightKola Go to original post

This is hard/challenging...not even heroic. You should be able to easily solo 10/10 on everything except the Zoo. Manning Zoo is definitely a bit easier with 2 players, but also doable solo with some practice and an optimal build.
Out of curiosity, what builds are you using where you struggle to get 10/10? Have you tried a Hunter's Fury build with Memento and Chatterbox? Eclipse Protocol chem-launcher firestarter?
I get that there's a lot of enjoyment out of running with groups. But if you're being frustrated by bad players in the queue, and the point is to beat the event timers.....why bother with matchmaking? Just solo it.
I think Manning has the bar set properly and the rest are too easy.Originally Posted by tcarlisle2012 Go to original post
I missed the top spot on one of the other missions by 2 or 3 minutes. It was the first time I have ever run the mission outside of the campaign and I had a build of parts I'd found in my 5 hours of being a new level 40. A really bad skill build at that. lol
I wasn't even speed running. I just needed the Chatterbox blueprint. lol
Alright dood luck then it's trickier to pull off on console.Originally Posted by T0NY.HAYABUSA Go to original post
Yeah, I counted about 15 seconds between the moment you activate the echo and the moment the timer stops. So for a sub 18 a player should be fine as long as he activates that echo at 17:44 or before. And also granted he doesn't make the foolish mistake of leaving the echo too soon because if you leave too soon the mission and timer don't stop.Originally Posted by tcarlisle2012 Go to original post
This right here.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
The other mission timers are basically a faceroll. There's almost no challenge at all. The Zoo is actually maybe a little overtuned, but is set up so you actually have to use speedrun tactics and builds instead of waltzing through and smelling the roses.
