Has anyone tested if Creeping Death works in conjunction with Ridgeway's Pride?

So the Bleeding Edge talent gives you more armor repair based on number of enemies bleeding (yes, within a certain distance, but that's academic to the question).

Creeping Death spreads any status I apply to any enemy within 8m.

Curious if anyone has tested that if using these two I shoot an enemy, he bleeds and spreads the bleed, and Bleeding Edge applies this to accelerated armor repair???

My Ridgeway/gunner build is still a little too squishy. Fortunately my Antumbra backpack dropped as a god roll (15% CHD / 15% weapon damage / 6% CHC / 4,925 armor regen) so I can roll the talent and keep all those stats. It currently has Adrenaline Rush but it doesn't seem to help enough, so I am torn between Creeping Death and Clutch - both are in my library.

    What would you do?

Try Creeping Death, if it sucks, swap to Clutch? You can change the talent more than once.

    I'm also curious..

u can try wicked (Applying a status effect increases total weapon damage by 18% for 20s)

Yeah, that was my Plan B.

I was done playing for now anyhow, so figured it couldn't hurt to ask if anyone else had already tried it.

If I don't get a response I'll try both and report back.

Thanks, but this build already does massive damage.

Defense though, it's a little lacking on.

Well, I can't definitively answer my own question, but with the waiting around required health on bleed just ended up being too impractical, no matter how multiplicative. So I rolled again to Clutch and it's WAY better. This build was already well suited to a Clutch talent because it was already right at the max CHC of 60%, so I get a lot of critical hits.

Like I mentioned, the build was already a literal wrecking ball, but with a measly 726k of armor was just unacceptably squishy. I roared through almost anything up to and including Challenging, but Heroic I was getting downed too much. This did not change that 726k stat, but with a constant in-flow of armor from critical hits on Clutch, armor on kill from both my Hunter's Fury (20%) and the Gunner specialization (10%), AND some extra armor on bleed from Ridgeway's Pride, I had armor repair happening almost as fast as I was being hit, so it effectively toughens it up a LOT.

What if you ran Ridgeway's with Eclipse Protocol (pack, knees, holster, gloves), a Hana U or Wyvern mask, Technician for +1 ST, shield and stinger hive? You get armor from the ST 6 shield and bleeding fury from shooting enemies and dropping the hive.

There has to be some way to run this chest piece that makes sense. I haven't seen it yet.

i use to run that build on heroic, creeping death works with ridgeway. 4pc Ongoing directive is better with ridgeway in terms of damage, bleed damage is 60k+ and you get hollow point ammo.

I considered this, but I am not sure this is the right combo either. My EP/Vile/status build totally rocks as is, and is probably my most powerful build, but it's a long-distance set up. I cannot charge into any situation, but instead scout out safe locations with a clear exit and engage from a distance. On the rare cases I do get hit I have a set of god-rolled Belstone gloves (Max armor / Max health / Max status effects) + the 1% armor regen.

I am not seeing Ridgeway as an upgrade from that, especially since the weapon damage plus high CHC / CHD clearly leans it towards some kind of gunner build.

Why not use Hunter's Fury with Gunner spec? HF has you in close proximity anyway, and gives you armor on kill, which will stack with Gunner armor on kill.

You could use it with "The Grudge" named SMG since you're always going to have kills with status effects,

Has anyone tested to see if Ridgeway's Pride works with Negotiator's Dilemma? Because THAT would be freakin hilareous! But I suppose it only applies the bleed to targets you actually shoot? Oh well....
