Loot quality has been an issue in this game for too long, devs tried to fix it, but could't, so now a new way to improve the loot quality through grind is going to be added, thats nice in the paper, but as usual, the devs can't do a single thing for the players, they just dont listen and instead of making a viable way to improve the gear that was already grinded for months and months playing the same old missions over and over again. They are forcing the little remaining players to grind for months and months again just to get a 1 freaking % improve in 1 atribute on 1 piece of gear due to the RIDICOULOUS high costs of the bench. So in the end a good idea like the optimization table is rendered useless like the crafting bench by a super stubborn dev team that sais they listen to the feedback but just don't do nothing about it.

The lack of new content (a manhunt repeating the same missions or a league when you have to AGAIN speerdun the same missions is not new content), poor loot quality, bugs that are not fixed for more than a year, constant nerfs to pve and huge imbalances to pvp has driven almost all the playerbase to go for other games, even the content creators migrated to COD, tarkov, destiny 2, etc. And the dev team is still so stubborn about this game. When are they going to understand that they are the ones killing the game.

Buff talents like concussion, that rewards good aim, with obliterate you just need to hit crits and you get the buff, it works really good, but concussion needs a buff
Underperforming gearsets like tip of the spear. ongoing directive, system corruption (needs a huge buff in weapon damage), striker

armour vs damage ratio of heroic and legendary npcs going through the roof (imo reducing the base armour of them would fix the issue)
too much hazard protection on npcs, but skills are too OP in pvp
mortar turret(cooldown, rate of fire and explosion radius), hive damage(a tier 0 hive should not be able to kill a player that fast), sharpnel trap(broken), sticky fire(range and instant damage) are too overpowered in PVP and needs to be nerfed, NOT in PVE

Time to kill, everyone uses shields because the TTK is too short(for the npc's) in pve and pvp. For pvp, increase the ttk, and make that the only gun you can shoot with a shield is a pistol, but we need a longer ttk. For pvp, almost everyone is going to use shields if a red npc can oneclip you in 2 seconds, while you need too many bullets to kil a yellow or named npc

Those are some of the issues in the game that i think could improve the balance and enjoyment, but i really dont have any hope on the devs doing something for the little playerbase thats left on the game. Oh and did i mention that the opmimization costs are INSANELY high and need to be reduced?
