Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered keep crashing when it prompted "Press any key"

Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered keep crashing when I clicked as loading screen prompted "Press any key". Guess that problem occured because the game crashed and may be that made my newest save corrupted.

    Checked in the game_starter_logs.txt:
    [10476] 2020-11-27 00:00:31 [ 8452] ERROR GameProcessWatcher.cpp (210) Child process abnormal exit: 3568
    [ 640] 2020-11-27 00:02:49 [ 4820] ERROR GameProcessWatcher.cpp (210) Child process abnormal exit: 1252

    [ 9968] 2020-11-27 00:30:03 [10756] ERROR GameProcessWatcher.cpp (210) Child process abnormal exit: 18348

I tried almost every TROUBLESHOOTING TECHNICAL ISSUES, including run the game and Ubisoft Connect as Administrator, verify game files, change the cache folder name, etc... but it still won't work.
When I deleted the 5.save in the save folder of the game before the "press any key" screen (maybe before the game load the save files), the game work correctly (with my older save - i have more than one save file). But when I recover the file, the game keep crash again. How can I revert to the most recent save of the game before the crash?

    My PC Specs:
    Win 10 Home

    Same problem here!

I went all troubleshooting procedures to end up having to test my Ram memory even though of all games I play only AC3Remaster is actually crashing.
I have like 3 saves, but I dont know wich one is corrupt.

Did you have only one save game in-game? If that is the case, try to delete the 3.save right after Ubisoft connect sync your save game from cloud, then let the game running. Remember always do that when you have created backup of all your save game.

Hey there guys! I apologise for the delayed response.

PhatthanhtuHN - I'm sorry to hear you're encountering crashes in-game. Thanks for trying such extensive troubleshooting already.

I would recommend that you open a support case and attach an MSinfo and a DxDiag, so our team can take a closer look. Please include all troubleshooting steps you have tried in your case notes, as this will help with the investigation.

PsicoWolph - Have you been able to open a support case with us before? If so, please share your case number so we can take a closer look. Otherwise, I would recommend opening a support case following the instructions above so we can take a closer look. Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response, PsicoWolph. Thanks for sharing that with me!

I can see that you were advised to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance. Were you able to do this, and if so what did they advise?

Thanks for your support. Even if I find an unofficial fix method for this problem in my case, I would submit a support case for this problem because it ruined my experience in this game, which is one of the games that left the most impression about storyline on me in the franchise. I almost lost one save (about 10h) when playing "The Tyranny of Washington" when the game crashed. Hope that you can fix this problem, so no one have to encounter it when playing this.

Sorry for delayed response. My save location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\0e835a7d-84db-4c9d-9349-7a9f8d976596\5184

I did buy the game on Steam too, so you may take a look at that location. In my case, in my 0e835a7d-84db-4c9d-9349-7a9f8d976596 folder (each one who have UConnect account have they own code) contain all of my Ubi's savegame. 4923 is my Origins's save, 5092 is Odyssey's and 5184 is AC3R's. I did find about that information online and someone have 5183 is AC3R's savegame location. So be careful when you find it, and backup everything before you do any action to all that save file.

Of course. I can see you've submitted that to us on a support case already so a member of our team will take a look. Many thanks.
