It was a response from ubisoft themselves that stated they take cheating seriously. Whether you believe me or not is irrelevant and it doesn't change the fact that I have been in correspondence with ubisoft and I have been told that they are investigating the situation. If you choose to be ignorant that is your choice but again it doesn't change what I have been told.
Did people really cheat... or are you using support because you didnt win and want free car :thunk:
And if by cheating you ean the Back on Track or jump cuts... that's on every single ******g summit, and every ******g update we keep telling to move checkpoint placements to fix this, but naaah, they need to build a racing game on an engine where they are unable to do so.
Considering leaving the track and coming back on in the fashion you mentioned is literally cheating that is what I reported. I only missed out by 155 points so was rather ticked off at all that effort put in only to be thwarted by underhanded tactics used by crap racers that wouldn't otherwise get close to getting plat rewards. I can't understand why they haven't made it so you respawn at the last check point you went through like they did on open track HC and SR races which lend themselves to finding shortcuts etc, I guess they just like hiring absolute idiots. I had no idea that it has been going on for so long which I suppose would explain why I can never seem to get close to the top "players" times even though I am a fairly good racer (very rare for me to find people I can't just straight up beat) which probably means nothing will come of their "investigation".
Looks like I'm going to have to find a new game to play since they don't have the brains or the balls to deal with this issue properly which kind of sucks because Crew 2 is literally the only game I play. Do you have any recommendations for a new racing game I can play on PS4 that is similar to Crew 2?
